I have to take spiritual note of this friend.
You say I sin, yet can never actually say the sin I am commiting.

The issue with sin is you actually have to prove it or you are sinning yourself
by falsely accusing others of a crime.

Now if it is a sin to express a point of view or have an impression of someone
or something, then you need to make it clear where the problem is.

Based on passed experience this is just invented slander and taking offence for
the sake of it to stir up antagonism. The pharisees did this all the time against
Paul and the apostles, so we expect nothing else from those who dislike the message
of salvation and transformation into the image of Christ through following after Him.

The unfortunate reality is EG has decided what is acceptable and what is not.
I am sure it plays well in his head, but never to me.

If a situation occurs where 2+2 = 5 and someone says 2+2 = 4 you cannot complain.

They are not lying. Either you stop saying 2+2 = 5 or just be shown up as being aggressive

The Lord calls us to share as we see things and bring love. So this is what I do.

I have to laugh. Over a year ago I was told I was going to be shown up for my errors,
slander, evil and the mirror put in front of me.

I have grown more in understanding, brought more scripture to the table and shown
the Lord expects us to walk the way to life, not just arrive as if nothing needs doing.

I have had a conversation with someone who suffered from a mental illness. You would
listen to them, spend 1 hour talking it through and showing them their idea was mistaken,
wrong here is the evidence showing what is true. They would agree, and then 5 minutes
later they would repeat the same statement as if the conversation had not happened.

Emotions can bypass the mind, and the mind just create a solution to the emotions that
the person is happy with. I every other regard they are like anybody else but this one
issue you know they are off. For some it is a voice coming out of the radio telling them
to do something, or some conspiracy just behind the corner that nobody has noticed.

Here in the world of spiritual truth this happens more than one would like to admit.
It normally starts with I know you are "evil", a worker of the enemy. Everything is always
inprecise and just trying to invent a problem and then get evidence for it.

Now as brothers and sisters in Christ I would hope and pray you know how to see the difference
between truth and a lie, evil and righteousness. Evil and lies are very obvious. It is a lie and evil
to jump out say someone is lying and evil and then produce nothing. That is sinful behaviour.

So please if you care about sin, take the Lord seriously and treat everyone with respect, knowing
they come in love until they show otherwise. If you have not yet learnt to do this, go to scripture.

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.

This seems to be people's default answer. "Wouldn't Jesus forgive"? WE ARE NOT JESUS..

We are to forgive also. We are to walk as He walked. If we're having a problem forgiving, letting go of a grudge or having bitterness, the only counsel I can give that has ever worked for myself is prayer. Actually...the best thing to say is I do not know the Lord like they do because I trust in myself over faith and grace<---Petey!

Here is a classic odd distortion.
My faith is I trust Christ through the cross has forgiven my sins. He empowers me to know
love through dwelling on his deeds and actions and knowing His words abiding in my heart.
The outflow of this is works of faith. And the reality is a righteous walk.

Now this is my position, simply stated.

Now I should say according to dc - I trust myself.
Now in the world of language being used, to add to the cross is to create self righteousness.
So if I add to Christ work, I am taking away its victory and reality and claiming I can save
myself. Now this logic makes sense if you accept the premise of salvation is about trusting
in the cross or trusting you yourself. But I do not agree with this view of faith, sin and
salvation.

So therefore I must be evil, the enemy and all these words spoken about me.
Most believers have no clue about this odd position because it is so contorted, sinner yet saved,
defeated yet victorious, worldly yet eternal, perfect and pure yet condemned under the law.

It is interesting, but as with most of these disputes, the protagonists believe what they believe,
so it does not really matter. God bless you, and may in Christ you find His resurrection and

If you allow a person to continue in sin with out confronting them of their sin, They will continue to sin, in fact, they will be empowered by sin.

They have my forgiveness, forgiveness does not have to be earned, It is given in grace, It does not mean I ALLOW IT TO CONTINUE in a CHRISTIAN FORUM without calling them out for it.

I do not think I've ever really spoken much with Fran, though I've read a lot of her posts. I have not refrained from talking with peter and stephen when I felt they were not speaking well or were not being kind or gentle. I hope both of them love me enough to do the same if I need a reminder or if my tongue is in danger of starting a fire. Peter has always considered what I have to say. He has even thanked me. Stephen, I don't know - he could be very peeved at me for the times I've tried to give him a gentle reminder, I don't know. So you are not correct - I have freely spoken with both of them. I usually try to speak with the person I believe is more spiritually mature. They're usually the one I try to approach. The less mature one is less apt to be ready to lay down pride and consider my counsel. And someone has to be the one following our Lord and laying down the pride, bitterness and anger or it will never get better. Someone has to be the one to stop it and begin speaking respectfully. I would think you would be tripping over one another to be the peacemaker to receive the blessing.

Wise, I am sorry, just because someone puts a gun into someones hands and said go kill
does not make them wise, it is often at the other end of the scale into brute ignorance.

I think the behaviour here demonstrates it.

The smaller the sentences the more the reader sees what they want to see, and the
person writing it means something different than than is being understood.

Scripture has some red lines you do not cross.
1. Ignore Jesus's commands
2. Dishonour His intentions
3. Attack believers other than for sinful behaviour and heresy
4. Change theology to meet cultural or life style pressures
5. Dishonour the old testament and God laws

So it is no surprise a group who do all of these things should be apostate and
heretical, filled full of ex-believers who now attach the church as evil and empty.

There is nothing friendly or nice about their intentions and the emotions that drive
them are aggressive and intentionally intimidatatory.

The problem for them is the people of God are called to listen, love and understand,
and then see the truth of what is going on and then respond. So there is no defeat
or capitulation, it is just working through the issues, of no work, idleness, no desire
to resolve sinful behaviour, no fixed moral centre or anchor, a different theological
language and a total mixture of previous and current heresies of WOF, health, wealth,
NAR, speaking forth faith etc. so no one person in the group is truly consistent or quite
the same as the other.

And on the subject of a marine, a true marine knows his value in the battle field and there
alone, it means nothing in other arenas. Taking out people is about strategic use of lethal
force, faith is about knowing Gods will and serving Him.

Many think picking up the cross is not required and just watching him carry his is all that is needed[this is passive picking up the cross]....active picking up the cross has nothing at all to do with crucifying the flesh or self denial....and everything to do with fulfilling what he called you do to...

Some get way off base and try to carry his...this is where devils meet you...

Hmm...a man does not pick up a cross unless something is going to die on it. It IS an instrument of death. If you pick up your cross and follow, you will be laying a lot of things on it, but at the same time, you ARE doing what He calls you to do, which is to deny yourself, give up your life, and follow.

gb9 - Thank you for your kind observation. Have you an example that I can understand
what you are referring to, because I would not want to miss-understand or upset you.

And with feelings are part of all our lives. We do everything with emotion, you cannot leave
what you are behind, it is innate in all life. I hope you do not mind, but people who repress
emotion and are depressed often see emotion like this, because it is totally repressed and
