All I got was an empty coffee cup cuz Dcon drank it.. :(

well Blue,

we really haven't been called names out loud' so far today, that we could hear,:eek:,
but, of course the world hates those who walk in the Light, so I would say, that,
well, we KNOW, that when we abide by the 'speed-limit, we drive some people
to their limits...and we were probably the recipients of several unkind words/thoughts,,,

it's all relative - always be prepared for where you go...:)

I know the answer to this. Because we do not know Jesus.

If you understand the profundity of this you have figured our the new covenant.

It is so annoying out of 10 commandments people say the break them every day.
Is this like a nursery where everyone is a kid driven by their passions which run riot
in their lives, one small provocation and the world collapses.

I have been through 3 kids, people dying, dangerous situations, lots of stuff, so most
daily things are not actually that bad. It is like watching a bunch of beginner canoeists
moaning they are about to capsize in water with a wave 4 cms high.

And the way it is hidden. We all sin, it is only human, just walking down the road,
innocent and all and sin just pops out.

Sin is not a nice cosy, innocent thing, it is worthy of being sent to the lake of fire
for. Now a truly stressful situation, with everything falling apart, things will get difficult.

But look at Paul and Silas. Locked up, maybe going to be executed like Stephen but they
just praise the Lord. Now that is walking in the Spirit. But some guys here to even talk about
their difficulties and struggles is impossible, just capitulation and as a badge of honour, we sin
every day. How many prostitutes do you visit, or people you steal from, or neighbours you accuse
of made up crimes? This is all a fake smoke screen to excuse unbelief and actually taking God at
His word.

Interesting. Is not Pauls argument we are slaves to sin, the passions and desires of the flesh
possess until Christ sets us free?


Sin feels like a runaway train, once you start down the road, it gets fast and fast and the
deeper you go the more you justify yourself so onward you plunge until someone cuts the
plug.

I would hold the only true free will we have is when God purifies our hearts and we can
see the light and there is no darkness anymore in our souls.

Only then we are truly free from sins grasp, and we do not want to go back there.
It strikes me many do not know these realities and just capitulate to what they call sinful
behaviour except it is kept secret, in the dark, so others cannot help and they do not want
to actually be free. Ironic that for follower of Christ. Maybe something has gone wrong in
the way they have read scripture.

I am sure it said we are more than conquerers through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The new version is we are no more conquerers than any sinner, but we hope Jesus will put
in a good word for the rebellious evil doers who claim to know him.

It strikes me that you like to accuse people of lots of secret sins instead of confess that you might not truly understand what they are saying because they don't conform to fit your narrow linguistic abilities.

Maybe something has gone wrong in the way you read and understand others posts?

Who would not want to be free of sin?

that's a welcome sight - keep eyeing this hovering around the top of the thread list wondering how such a clearly settled declaration as "salvation is not by works" can be 900+ pages long . .

Dear sister, Do you know righteousness and the way sin holds us?

The rich young man played to Jesus. Here I am good teacher, I have made it, I just
need you to say I am home dry. What does Jesus say, give up your wealth and follow
me.

Why? Because it was all front, nothing needs to change, I have done it all.

If I went mad for Christ I might be sent as a missionary to Africa. No that is too much,
or some other excuse. I might have to give up my settled life and travel and meet strangers
and risk my life.

There are more excuses than people can dream up about not being free from sin, and actually
knowing the living God.

Moses and Israel. God the Father was there, but they wanted orgies and idol worship.

So I think you understanding is very limited. And you have not really understood love and
the living God. I see unfortunately zero progress with your projects, you have just confirmed
their belief they are right and you are wrong.

And if you do not know the self deception of your own heart, you are just beginning on this
road. It truly shocked me when I found out I could not trust myself. A bit hard to know your
biggest enemy is yourself. Always ironic, when one considers all the faults in everyone else.
