Actually, I think you're the one that has to come to terms with it.
It says the sinning person is not saved.
You say sin doesn't mean anything to salvation.
Actually, no.
I mean this; choosing to believe through the gift of faith God gives to do that believing.
Nobody believes from their own resources.
We can only choose to believe and trust in Christ because God gives us the ability to know through the gift of faith, the gift of knowing, that the gospel really is true.
Some people reject the conviction of faith and choose not to believe.
Others retain the voice of God convincing them that the gospel is for real and they believe.
The one who retains the testimony of God is the one who is saved and remains saved.
The one who rejects it is not saved and loses any benefit of any trusting in Christ he may have done before.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds by Christ (2 Corinthians 1:5).

In 1 Corinthians 7:14, Paul uses the term "sanctified" to specifically refer to non-Christians who are "sanctified" or "set apart" by their believing spouse. (And by this Paul does not mean that they are saved). A non-Christian can be "set apart" from other non-Christians without experiencing salvation as Paul explained and once again, if the word 'sanctified' in Hebrews 10:29 is used to describe saved people who lost their salvation (as eternal IN-securists teach), then we have a contradiction because the writer of Hebrews in verse 10 said "sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all" (Hebrews 10:10) and in verse 14, we read, "perfected for all time those who are sanctified." (Hebrews 10:14) This is not temporary. Open your eyes!
Read it with me. In Hebrews 10:10, we clearly read ..WE have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. In Hebrews 10:14, we read - For by one offering He has perfected for all time THOSE who are sanctified. To go from sanctified back to un-sanctified would be in contradiction here, so those Hebrews who were "set apart," but not saved, (vs. 29) drew back to perdition and DID NOT BELIEVE TO THE SAVING OF THE SOUL. (vs. 39)
That's just your pride speaking. Your arguments have been refuted numerous times, but you are too stubborn to admit your error and accept the truth. You have your agenda.
Because He said everyone who calls on His name will be saved.
He doesn't turn away the person who calls on Him.
He doesn't deny them because He knows in His omniscience that they will reject Him later.
Israel is a perfect example of this.
Millions of Israelites in hell today, yet He led them out of Egypt anyway.
Of course He does.
He doesn't need to be concerned about anybody leading His own away who want to believe in Him.
Only those who change their mind and don't want to believe in Him can be led away.
That's why we should continue to believe in Him.
That's where the security of salvation is.
Security of salvation doesn't mean you can forsake Him in unbelief and you're still saved.

Honest people see that you're ignoring the definition of the sanctified person given right in context.
My conscience won't let me tell people the sanctified person in Hebrews 10:29 is suddenly now not the sanctified person being talked about, in context, in vs. 10 and 14.
And my conscience won't let me make 'forever' mean 'you can't lose it' when the passage plainly explains 'forever' means Christ doesn't have to be re-sacrificed and has nothing to do with you not losing it.
And my conscience won't let me invent a sanctified unbelieving person in the church that the scriptures themselves says God won't sanctify and, therefore, doesn't exist.
I'm too honest to ignore what the passage plainly says and invent my own meaning to defend a preferred doctrine.

I showed you the scriptures that plainly say fake believers in the church are NOT sanctified clean.
An unbelieving spouse that you married before you got saved?
Yes, God will pronounce them clean for contact by you and allow you to be with them for obvious reasons.
But in no way does God make a fake believer clean for fellowship in the church.

If you thought coming over to the Protestant side of the Great Divide released you from the necessity to have works, think again.
Like I say, I think you have a comprehension problem.
I plainly said the person who believes is indeed very much saved as long as they are believing.
But you think that means 'not really saved' because you are indoctrinated by osas and in your mind 'saved' is defined as 'always saved no matter what'.
Which it is not.
Sinking fast, huh? Are you trying to work on my sympathies? Why did you used to respect me? Truth and love really count in the Christian Faith. Love without truth is too soft and truth without love is too hard. You’ve made some mean and nasty comments about OSAS believers in the past. Should I have respect for that?
My eyes are wide open and have been wide open for several years now.
Some of the hateful things you have said in the past about OSAS believers goes beyond mere correction. Then you gave the audacity of calling people babies when they call you out on your unjustifiable behavior.
