This is the tradition that were are told to hold to (2 Thessalonians 2:15).

The Bible says that such are heretics (Titus 3:10).
There are those who cease from sin (1 Peter 4:1). But I guess THAT audience ceases from sin, not YOUR audience.

Madness is thinking a person can cease from sin, moreover the scripture states the truth is not in them.

Satan accuses the brethren of doing good works only while God treats them right.
Paul told the brethren who to look out for. I used Paul's scripture to discern where you are coming from.
I know very well that you have already "investigated" the rest of 1 JOHN out of its plain meaning.
So, move on.
Show me some scripture where Satan accused the brethren of being heretics.
Of course you want to move on while ignoring:
