The behavior of 'Christians' in this forum shows me the church does not know the truth.
They think excellence in osas and other sundry doctrines are what it means to know and live the truth.
I come into the forum after a two week absence and I see immature, godless, un-spiriutal back biting. But it seems that having correct osas doctrine is what really matters. Anyone who believes that is deceived and does not know God.

I don't think you know what faith in God really means. You do not show that you do. You are stuck in the false security of (so-called) knowledge, not in the life of Christ. You have yet to 'see' Christ.
All those who have insulted me and falsely accused me take no thought for the feelings of the human soul at the other end of the keyboard. I believe my attackers are teaching false doctrines, but I have not spoken with such froward and contempt language shown by others.

He gives real meaning to these VERSES:

Most of us here are OSAS evangelical type of Christians, and we almost never contradict one another.

Observing your behavior is all one has to do. Backbiting shows you are either not saved at all or still a baby in Christ. Which is it?
That's exactly what the osas church does.
They say, "I am safe because I'm the temple of the Lord, I'm the temple of the Lord".
Now reread that passage with that in mind. They trust in deceptive words if they think being the temple of the Lord makes them safe--safe to hate and murder in the name of correctness of doctrine.
No, it is faith in the promises of God that gives His children peace. Of course we need to know them to have faith in them, but our level of "correctness" doesn't bring assurance.... His faithfullness does...
The body of Christ is definitely safe.
By His power.
I am nothing but dirt without Christ. Worse than dirt, a failed and vile person who doesn't even deserve hope.
He however has made me new, and will not ever cast me out.
He promises this to all who believe.
We can KNOW Him, if HE ALSO abides in us.
Those He started in, He continues in until the day of Christ.
It is all about God and trusting in Him. (which is only possible by His power and His faithfulness)
Never about self, unless that is someone were to try to place part of their salvation on their own shoulders... (which those here who you seem to be indirectly pointing your finger at, would not do)
