Amen!! It seems we have similar paths of being broken from religion. and finally seeing God for who he is, not what the world wants us to think he is.

And amen, The world says Gods love must be earned, All the major religions teach this, Judaism, Islam, Yes, even religious christianity.

That proves to me it is satanic. He took one basic root principle (God will only love you if you live up to some standard) put a few flavors in it, and it has taken hold and kept billions from Seeing the true God of heaven,

The devil and his crew are alive and well in what we call Christianity, he won't gain the souls of those who are saved, but he is doing a great job at paralyzing them with fear and false doctrine. People are afraid to share the love of God, because they are taught by the leaders of lots of churches that the love of God isn't enough. They don't come out and say that, but they use a lot of doctrine that means the same thing. It is so sad.

sad indeed, They preach the power of God, yet the hinder the power of God by telling us we have our own obligation and power , and we better do this or else.

instead of taking us to our knees and getting us to realize we have no power. we must rely on God for everything. and showing us the most important aspect of christian life is to love, not think of self. and serve others.

Even jesus taught this humble spirit. when he said the least will be called the greatest. And he did not just say it, HE LIVED IT, and an example.

If I can't have heaven, Having a disease is the east of my worries.

God saved them from slavery, They did not save themselves. Many of them did not have all th eblessings God wanted to give them, But they were still saved.

I sometimes question why I am not healed. I can even be angry at God. But I know. If I got the choice to be healed or be saved I choose salvation. For what is a life without disease when you don't have Jesus? I don't know why some get healed and some don't. I don't know what is God's master-plan for my life. But I know he will give me the ability to do his will and to serve him, despite my disability. And I know God can heal. And that in it self is a blessing and a hope. But to take healing for granted is dangerous. And to blame and guilt-trip people that don't get healed reminds me of the "friends" of Job.

Amen, God causes all things to work together for his good. to those who love him. We can not answer why God choses not to heal. Only have faith that God knows best. As paul said, the things he suffered were a momentary light affliction when compared to eternity. and he would gladly suffer more if it brought others to Christ.

The only reason Paul could day this is the security which so many reject. Paul could not suffer being stoned, shiprecked, left for dead, imprisoned, and all he did (including his thorn in the flesh) if we was not secure in christ, Because his eternity would not yet be secure,

he suffered them, because he was secure in his own future, so he wants to help others be secure in theirs..

Security in Christ 101..should be the first step of discipleship from every new believer before satan gets in and discourages them wiht all his lies of insecurity.

there is no such thing as faith apart from works. faith produces works..

However, there can be works without faith. And paul spent most of his letters trying to expose this myth of faith PLUS works for salvation.

Fear, Power Love and a sound mind are like ful and water, you can not mix them.

You fear because you have placed yourself under law. Not because you trust God. those who trust Good have no fear. and they walk with God out of appreciation.. That causes them to be holy,

Laws have never made anyone holy. if anything, the pharisee prove law can only give us a false hope (when we misinterpret it, or try to force ourselves as being able to adhere to it)
