Boasting is not just relegated to the law. You boast because you earned something. Y9ou boast because you did some thing and have somethign to show for it.
And he wrote that to the ephesians. Gentiles were never under law. So he was not talking gabout the law.
You are the one who said we have to accept God.
God is the one who chooses if He wants to accept us.

Obedience to rules and laws for salvation is not the New Convenant salvation.....does this clarify?
The boasting that no one can do anymore are the purification/ceremonial works of the old law. The Jews could boast in cleaning themselves and having others do the purification works of the law in which circumcision of the flesh was the sign and seal.
Galatians 6:13 Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh.
As for saying we cannot boast in obeying, it is not true, for it is never ever shameful to obey God.
Read this next scripture. Paul shows us he boasts. Paul boasted in himself and those who obeyed. He also taught us to boast in him and each other.
2 Corinthians 1:12 Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, with integrity and godly sincerity. We have done so, relying not on worldly wisdom but on God's grace.

The old works of the law, God gave the commands for people to clean themselves outwardly.
You don't know that the Gentiles were called 'unclean' because they didn't do the works of the law?
Even Paul say to obey.
Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. 25 Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.
Romans 2:5 But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. 6 God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” 7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.

No, Actually I said we have to accepts Gods plan of salvation.
God already decided. If your going to reject HIS Grace, God will REJECT you.

GET OFF THE LAW.
God gave commands to SHOW PEOPLE WHO SINFUL THEY WERE The purpose of the law was to lead people to christ.
Why can you not comprehend this biblical fact?
The law NEVER SAVED ANYONE

Paul never said we must obey to maintain salvation. He was against that. And he called people who thought they were saved by faith, But perfected that salvation by works. FOOLS.
