That's ok JIM....at the end of the day...your book will not be opened to judge....and if you fail to completely trust JESUS....there will be 5 books plus 1 opened to judge......the 5 books of the LAW and the book of LIFE....those not found written in the latter...will be judge, found guilty and condemned by the first 5......

AMEN.....IT IS ALL JESUS......that is why nothing WE DO will ever earn our place.......we cannot improve on God and his plan....though the "cake takers" and "workers for" like to try.....!

Whats tragic is your continous denial of the truth...

1 theres no such thing as a works based salvation..

2 faith plus works are one....

3 faith is just as good as a gift as works.

4 may God bring you back to plannet earth where your love is needed to spread Good works..:cool:

I am on earth...faith saves...works have zero to do with it, but are the results OF....wake up Forrest......HAH ;)
 

Those are harsh words, especially when those who call the ones who speak truth about works NOT getting you into heaven, "a child of satan". :/ Preacher is right, works WON'T get you into heaven, nor will they gain your salvation, nor keep it. That's the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. :cool: If I were you, Jimbo, I'd educate yourself on what works will and will not get for us... JMO

To all the people who believe that we need daily salvation, let me pose this question. Does Jesus have to get upon His cross daily to give us salvation daily? Must He get on that cross everyday and die for our sins over and over? The answer is: NOPE. :) Jesus died ONCE to save us from our sins and to bring us salvation. The same applies to keeping our salvation. It is a one-time gift, bestowed freely upon us. It is NOT a gift that we have given to us EVERY DAY, so we don't need to HOPE for it daily.

Now here's a question for those who believe you MUST do good works to receive and maintain your salvation. Good works consist of helping others, right? YES. :) But even if you do 100 good works each day all your life, they will NOT gain you salvation. Nor will they allow you to KEEP your salvation. Why, you ask? Because only two things are required to get salvation: faith and belief. Those are gifts given to us by GOD, they are not OUR works. When we strive to know Jesus, He gives us the 2 things we need to accept His salvation. Those 2 things are ALL that is needed.

Another thing that does not gain you salvation, is taking communion. Grape juice and a little piece of bread have no power to give us salvation. The power comes from the One whom we remember when we do partake of communion. :) But it is not essential for gaining and keeping salvation.

The ONLY way that you CAN lose your salvation, is if you deny God and the Trinity. That would be the straw that broke the camel's back..lol.. So my point is, don't ever deny God's existence and you won't ever have your salvation taken away.. :)

NO, Jimbo, these are the things that you deny.. It really is sad that you believe we need daily salvation, and that we MUST do works to enter heaven. Faith is NOT just as good a gift as works is. ONLY faith is required for salvation, works are not.. Works don't save us, they don't give us salvation, they don't get us into heaven. YOU continuously deny these things. The very same things that you accuse Dcon of denying, because you know he's correct and you just don't want to concede to the truth of Jesus. Open your eyes, and realize the truth before it's too late..

No this little worker would say its up to the believer to stay in union and unity with God...
 

Actually we will be judged for our sins, and whether we were repentant of them or not. Jesus may ask "why didn't you do any good works" but He certainly won't keep us out of heaven for not doing all that we could have done, because once again, WORKS WILL NOT GET YOU INTO HEAVEN..

One word wow and amazing yes God is our salavtion Isaiah 12:2 2"Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the LORD GOD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation."

There for i will seek him daily....

That right there is the issue....you conflate salvation with fellowship...one is based upon faith the other upon faithful obedience....that is why you continually miss the boat bro
