Up and down is irrelevant when it come to earth pizza. And yes earth pizza is disk shaped and not pan shaped. It's the cheese that keeps us from falling off and it's delicious to boot.

I listened to this just this morning. Dr. Ryan Reeves is a Christian professor of History and Literature at Gordon-Conwell. His material is consistently well-researched, balanced, and solidly Christian. In this video he looks at the (modern) origins of the flat-Earth movement in the early 1800's.
