I was more hoping for the right to life, liberty, property, (what was first written in the Declaration, but changed to...) and pursuit of happiness. I'm an optimist, and really would like those rights. I just haven't seen the Lord giving me any of them.

Yeah, but God's word is not limited to 17th century British English. It's his same words in 12th century Italian, 20th century Portuguese, and 21st century Hebrew. Unless we comprehend Ancient Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, we're accepting a translation of original words. (And considering Ancient Hebrew died before people started translating the OT into their own languages, there really is no one who is completely fluent in it. Just educated guesses.)

How many times were you sure scripture said something you believed only to find out later on you got it wrong? Did that mean you made God a liar?

Sometimes we just get trapped in our own heads and think too much, (or too little. I've done both.) Not the same thing as faulting God for lying.

Romans 3:4 "God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged."

I try not to argue with God...to say the word is not clear regarding Jesus Christ being our savior is making God out to be a liar.

Singular versus plural has always been confusing for me. Isn't NEWS the plural of NEW, as in more than ONE NEW? Hair is another confusing point! You can pluck out one HAIR, or two HAIRS. But at what NUMERICAL value do "HAIRS" revert back to HAIR, while still referring to MORE than one HAIR? The Number PLEASE, and your REFERENCE(S) for that answer?

Well, we all know that to HEIR (err?) is human, but to forgive is divine! But what ever happened to THREEgiving, which seems like it should precede FOURgiving?

Speaking of the Word being clear, can anyone explain to me the RADICAL DIFFERENCES in scripture for the following verse?
