Im not big on Falwell.The issue was simple,I couldn't vote for Hillary even if it was just for her stand on abortion alone. Benghazi was another big reason.Two reasons off the top that I could never vote for her.

Falwell gave Trump his blessing. Many Christians think "Well if Falwell says so...." And Trump then got his first state. I'm in PA. As far as primaries go, we're in the top half of the states, but close to the middle. First time since I lived in this state that by the time the primary arrived I still had more than one choice for a Republican. However, the truly moral candidates had already bowed out. I still didn't vote for Trump, yet Trump won our state, and the entire primary that day. (Several states had their primary that day.) All because one Christian leader approved him, so very few felt a need to think it over.

To this day, I keep seeing post "proving" Trump is considering being a Christian.

Yeah, right. And I'm considering being a millionaire. lol

We weren't given a choice by the time November came in 2016. The only people I've ever heard were proud of Trump and considered themselves Christians were banned from CC. The rest of us? We voted for the less of two evils, and this time both are truly evil.

Most sane people would not intentionally change their point(s) of view after someone "liked" a post. On the contrary, most people would either post more information on the matter, or perhaps where evidence could be found supporting the original post. Corrections, such as of spelling errors, punctuation errors, or capitalization errors could be needed or desired at any time! I myself have made such errors already on this forum, mostly because I use a nearly incompatible computer, which is a Chromebook! I accidentally capitalized the word democrat a couple of times, but fortunately, I was able to correct my mistake because it involved only a single letter.

Bad premise in two ways:
1. Assumes all are sane.
2. Assumes sane people won't fudge for their own benefits.

I admit it. I would have considered rewording something in my favor much later. It is tempting. Ultimately, I didn't, but the temptation was there.

Read the word of God. You mentioned BibleHub earlier and on BibleHub I am pretty sure there are many variations of the verse that clearly point to a trumpet. You are making God out to be a liar, I dont appreciate that.

It has been my experience that "disagreeing", on this forum, usually does come in the form of a definite DECREE..... so, you probably would have had it correct, either way.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.....three words you need to key in on. Way, meaning path, Truth meaning He's real and revealed, and Life, meaning He gives us life not only on this Earth, but everlasting in Heaven. Jesus is the ONLY savior for mankind, man cannot save himself, through ANYTHING. It's by God's love and grace and mercy that he sent his son to die in our stead for our sins. God appointed Trump to be in office for a reason, and it's his plan. Who are we to question that? Or still, who are WE to doubt God's faithfulness and his mercies?

Do you want to discuss NUMBERS? The democrats have made a HUGE fuss over a comparative few who have been killed or injured by firearms (guns), and want to virtually ban them. Yet we almost NEVER HEAR about the 300,000 to 400,000 who are KILLED in hospitals, clinics, and even doctors' offices due to medical MISTAKES! Which number is GREATER ... those killed by guns, or those KILLED in medical institutions? They are KILLED by misplaced decimal points, wrong medicines, wrong labels, being placed in the wrong hospital room, and even defective equipment!

Let me take an educated guess.

Number of LBGT in the country - 3%.
Number of drug addicts that came from using pain pills -- 3%.
Number of crooked/bad cops busted - .00013%
Number of crooked/bad cops including the ones who haven't been caught -- guessing 1%.
Number of women who get abortions - 4%.
Number of people who have died or been hurt by medical incompetency - 1%.
Using the number Democrats call "rich" ($100,000 a year or more), number of rich people in the US - 8%. (Quite a bit more than "1%," doncha think?)

So number of people who have been killed by firearms? My guess? Less than 3%.

I live in a city, so guessed wrong. Just looked it up. .0001%!

Do you work? (General "you," not specifically you, Inq. lol) Does the place you work have a 99.999% perfect rate? (No more than .0001% bad product or service rate.) We're never ever going to get everything perfect. Men were born evil, and developed it all their lives to the moment the Lord saved them. And even after that, we revert back to evil (sin) sometimes. When I worked, the bosses were happy when 98% of product came out working right. That's 2% scrap-heap levels.

And yet, the anarchist expect 100% perfect in the US? I think that's called delusional!

Whoa now! When we misunderstand something from scripture does not mean we're making God a liar.

How many times were you sure scripture said something you believed only to find out later on you got it wrong? Did that mean you made God a liar?

Sometimes we just get trapped in our own heads and think too much, (or too little. I've done both.) Not the same thing as faulting God for lying.
