Hi everyone, I'm hoping to find good conversations with like minded individuals. Not looking for any negative post, only encouraging and uplifting that you would expect from a good friend.

After college for 17 years I was a computer specialist and served in many positions in our local church. Then God called. Twenty years were then in the pastoral ministry. After seminary and ordination we were at 2 country churches. The fifteen years before retirement we served a country with many great people and we saw much growth in biblical faith. - For two years I was fortunate to serve as a hospice chaplain, helping people during a hurting time.

Currently there are some medical problems which have limited me. My memory is not always clear (may be some problems is because i am over 70 :) ). Some of my medications lower my immune system so it is like 2020 all over again. Also the wildfire pollution from Canada may be effecting my O2 levels......

Over the years running became a great time of release and enjoyed finishing many half marathons and two full marathons. When leaving the hospital a year ago my goal was to walk to our mailbox (50 yrds) & last week I walked 4 miles.

My wife and I will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in Sept - We have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.

Hello! I am new here aswell! May the LORD OUR GOD keep you and your wife SAFE in this troubling time! Everything is so frightening these days. I am worried about my boys growing up in this world.

Thanks....... it is hard to imagine what the world will be like when our grand kids grow up. Isa 5:20 " They say that what is right is wrong and what is wrong is right; that black is white and white is black; bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter. "

Greetings Steve , welcome to this site. I am also getting on in years (Now 90) and look forward to mature Christian contributions, Unfortunately on sites like this you will always get some who just delight in fault finding & nit picking, just ignore them. But on the whole it is a great site so God Bless and enjoy.
