"Furry purry." Love that title, Magenta. 😻 I will be using it if I may.

Hello, Mrs. Jan. I enjoyed reading your kind posts. In your bio you said you like camping. That's something I really enjoy as well. Although, I haven't gotten to go for a few years. 🌌🏕️ Maybe soon!

I hope your trip is going well! 😊

Thank you. that is true. Our cat is indoor only so has a harness for walks and a large playpen for daytime.
We travel with a utility with two dog cages, which they are happy to sleep in.
We are all happy to be home. :)

Thank you.. It was visit to relatives, and included a last three day visit with someone with dementia, so stressful at times but we had some laughs with her and she enjoyed Barry playing his guitar and singing.

Glad you found the Christian forum! Sorry to hear about the stressful visit. Dementia is just another name/word that is subject to the Name of Jesus, a pastor said, but I have not heard of that interpretation before.

Let's consider praying this morning/evening about what the Lord just revealed to me, that our spiritual minds are intact, regardless of the illusion medical issues, and we should ask the Lord to bring the two together, and keep believing it is possible. The problem that I used to have, is that, as Jesus and the Apostle James said, visualising the reality of God's power, and channeling it, focusing it, like a magnifying glass focuses the power of the sun, as we used to do as kids, amazed that when you focus that power into a beam of light, it heats up. I'll take this country song on the radio as a sign of God's healing about a 90 year old man, who the singer is singing, "I thought he walked on water."

James said, "believe you have already received what you ask, and we will have it.".

May everyone where the person was be touched by God's healing, according to His will, in Jesus Name! And all who obey God in caring for those who suffer, and wonder if they are making a difference.

I struggle to believe and fight my way out of LaLa land almost daily, even though the Lord personally reassured me that "there's nothing you have that can't be fixed," if I trust in Him, and believe.".

Some people like myself who have been deeply wounded and suffered grievously and for many years, need consistent help to believe. But, it is to nurture the weakest faith, not replace it.
And our power as saved Christian's, even if we can barely believe, is the words of Jesus, "My divine healing power is made possible because of human weakness," (paraphrase) and confirmed by Paul, with similar words.

So, what this means is that the weaker we may feel, the more God's power can be increased through us. Because it's God's power, not ours, and so it won't go to our heads (pride) if we can barely hold on to reality, and would rather be on the mental health unit gobbling down Xanax, or in a bar chasing down a handful of valium with a non-alcoholic drink, or drowning in a sea of one beer to numb life's pain. God's power comes from just being here in the place of Jesus, here in the physical world. All we have to do is just hold on to one sane genuine caring thought and caring feeling for the Lord to bring His power into the present.

Another confirmation was that I was just thinking about the words of the Lord here in a cafe, "nothing you have can't be fixed,". And I heard "I believe in you," in a country song.

This confirms God's healing today, for even us who are weakest in faith, for our own needs, and especially for others who are suffering and in most need of God's mercy and help.

If I can suffer through the anguish of typing this out one letter at a time, we can be assured of God's help.

As I leave the restaurant, the country song is:. "The whiskey ain't working anymore," and so the singer is singing he needs a lady more than whiskey.

And we all need God's help above our own means, as Jesus said, "not as the world gives," but as He is able to help us.

So let's celebrate!

Hi Everyone,
I googled for a comparison of NKJV and HCSB Bibles, and up came Christian Forums, sad I had not come across your site previously.
