Hello Everyone
I'm a single guy in my late 50s; I've been a Christian most of my life. I live in the Philadelphia region now and formerly in London, England.
I'm going through a period of great difficulty and loneliness right now, so I thought it might be a nice idea to try this chat site for interesting conversations. I also came to post an urgent prayer request, which I will do shortly.
I had somewhat of a fundamentalist upbringing but have moved away from that style of faith practice. I go to church now and again but don't have a regular church home now. I tend to prefer a more formal or traditional style of worship, liturgy and music.
I really could use some encouraging words in what are dark days for me.

There are plenty of Singles on this site with a forum dedicated to Singles, even though married members can respond also. I can say from personal experience that loneliness is hard to deal with. Yes, there are most interesting conversations in the various threads. Encouraging others is what happens here. Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.

Welcome Aboard.
I know how you must feel. Im 65 this year, been saved for 43 years. This will be my 3rd move and my Biggest change. I settled in the other two moves within 1 year. Keep plugging away, God will bring friends. Im leaving for Thailand within 2 months. Nan Province. There is only one person in the small town of Wiang Sa that speaks Anglish. She learned it from a Brit. Ill be around even when Im in Thailand. This chat site will probably be my Life Line too.

Hi and welcome to CC Randwulf, great to have you joining the fun and fellowship here!!! I have a friend whose fiance' went to Heaven last December. All being Christians, he grieved a while but knew she was immediately w/Jesus in glory. He had signed up in Christian Mingles and now is engaged again. I'm glad the Lord led you here to be your second family and may you and your time here be blest🙏

I am sorry to hear about your friend's loss, but it is heartening to hear he has met someone new.
I'm not looking to date anyone at this point until my life is on a better track, but I do miss no longer having any immediate family or having many friends nearby.

Thanks for your message and i wish you good luck with your next move. I've made some big moves around the world when I was younger but am back where i grew up. I don't want to stay here I just cant figure out a way (or afford) to move somewhere quiet and peaceful.
