It makes God merciful to give up His Son to die in our place. I don't know so much about sadistic but it does make all humans Christian or not sinners in need of a Savior which did get tortured and put to death.

Every human again Christian or not is a sinner. I personally acknowledge that I am responsible for Jesus having to die on the cross even if you or I were the only sinner ever born He would have died just for you or me...That's how much He loves us.

This matey could be a good friend if you would allow him to be in fact most of the peeps here would be good friends if you would allow them. But you have already made up your mind that we are simpletons and you are much more knowledgeable than us poor wretched Christians. God loves you anyway in spite of your dislike of us.
 
Riven the fact of the matter is everyone has a choice. You aren't under any obligation to believe in God or to have anything to do with Him. You are allowed to choose whatever you want to believe in. We are humans and humans don't always treat each other kindly or with love. There are good and bad apples in every barrel no matter what the label is Christian, Atheist, Non Believer.

It's too bad you want to just stir up trouble, but I choose to be friendly to you anyway. Everyone deserves a chance even if they are acting like a donkeys behind.

I don't know what happened to you in your past that would have you dislike the Christian group of people or expect so much out of one people group.

Just a few questions for you. In your own circle of friends/family is everyone perfect and believe just as you believe? Are they good all the time and never do anything to disappoint you? They are as perfect as you in every way?

That is what you are expecting out of this group and I can tell you we won't disappoint you as we are imperfect humans that make mistakes and even get on each others nerves once in awhile. Wait until the next election and watch the sparks fly between us. It's partially because we are human. In case you haven't noticed Christians aren't perfect.

I enjoy chatting with Atheists and have actually made friends with a few that were on the site in the past. But if you just want to come and sling mud and try and feel superior to us because of your knowledge that we don't have or agree with then that's up to you it is the choice you have made. But if you'd like to make a friend or two I'd be willing to be one of them.....I accept flawed people in my friend group and you would surely be welcome....

That Is an example of making provision for the flesh.Some don’t want to look up to someone as their LORD when the LORD was put on the cross by mere human beings that HE came to save and some would question,why would GOD who IS ALMIGHTY allow this and then why would I look up to HIM but GOD does everything righteously ,HE loves righteousness and If HIS standard of righteousness was not kept then that wouldn’t be loving righteousness.

Men broke GODs law and would never be able to be perfectly righteous In their own strength because of the weakness of the flesh although they would delight In the law of GOD after the Inward man they would see another law In their flesh warring against the law of their minds and bringing them Into captivity to the law of sin.

GOD In CHRIST came to earth and dwelt In flesh that man could see and had mercy on men and paid the penalty of death for men breaking HIS standard of righteousness.

Now man can be acceptable to GOD because the requirement for man now Is to believe In JESUS.

The command of God is to repent and believe. There is no alternative.

Mark 1:14
Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent and believe in the gospel.”

This, from the lips of Jesus Himself, is not a suggestion.
 
I do have to wonder at what trolls think they can accomplish by coming onto a Christian website?

Still it is good to practice preaching the gospel to the lost and blind. Good for us too in going over the central tenets of
salvation and the Christian walk, and giving thought to what it all really means.
Don't want to end up like the church at Laodicea.

There was a similar challenging thread in the Arab Christian section where a supposed Christian started referring to Jesus using
sorcery and referring to the Koran's writings about Jesus as being equal to the gospels.

I also wonder why as well. they don't want to be converted and they think they can try to convert us away, they definitely have no idea what the Christian Bible mean by "when I am weak then I'm strong" if they truly understand what that means they will see that we are unstoppable, whether strong or weak whatever

It's as foolish as Satan thinking that he can overthrow God

Another is that boredom factor, if according to worldly standard indulging a pleasure of sin would be more preferable to relieve boredom, on the contrary boredom probably makes the mind weird doing weird stuff and pursuing illogical route of arguing against us
