AND create your wii character is cute lol xD
That was pretty cool You would see all your neighbors from where ever show up on your home screen.

The Wii U when you had to win a car to advance levels lol the mirror mode in Wii U is cool unlocking character and cars 🚗
You referring to Mario Kart? Never played the home version whole lot, except with friends. I mostly played online. I beat that Ford Racing Off Road game. Used to own a Ford Ranger, so it was cool driving my car on a video game.

My uncle got the cheat codes to the game age of empires on pc and it’s so addicting how to keep everyone alive lol their life spans were funny now
It teaches you hot to multitask for sure.

My Wii was stolen, someone broke in my home took my t.v. and Wii. A friend from church gave me hers (Wii) and I bought a new t.v..

Play for the interactions, rather than mindless violence. That's an interesting concept.

What's funny about TF2 is that, when someone dies, you see springs, kitchen sinks, or alarm clocks as guts. It's hilarious, it's really a PG, not really graphic at all. The jokes all around the game play is fun also. Each character has it's on personality and stereo typical auto replies.

O.k. TF2 isn't for you, but I'm glad you found a connection online when you were homeless? That must of been horrible. How long were you homeless? What happened?
Well WoW was never known for "mindless violence". There are RPG elements. Lots of questing. End game goals. Pet battles. PVP. Instances and raids which require groups. Earning reputation. Earning mounts. Each server has its own independent economy, with many spending more time working the auction house and earning gold than leveling up and playing the primary aspects of the game. The story and lore are a main focus for many as well. On top of the social aspect.

TF2 would probably be fun if I was good at such things. Much like how Fortnite has a lot of emphasis on less serious take on the atmosphere of the game.

Yes. I loved in my car for 5 years. Would've been longer had I not moved out of state. I was rushed to find a place to live last minute. I picked the first thing that came along i could afford. A few months later they moved out of state and, of course, I had to leave as well. But, once again, only two weeks. And this time no money to put down. So I ended up homeless.
When not working I spent the day in the library playing WoW and the nights sitting in a Dennys picking up a weak internet connection from a nearby business, playing WoW.

the one with the batmobile?

i liked all the other batman games, but the last one i only played for an hour or maybe 2 and lost all interest. really didn't like the car being added to the game at all and did not want to go on and explore how many other ways it could disappoint me.

i've been finishing the outer worlds atm, over the weekends.
I'm not sure if it had the batmobile or not. I only played it for an hour. Not being big on superheroes I wasn't crazy about the idea to begin with.

Your totally welcome here, this pretty much anti-establishment singles thread, so you fit right in there....Basically video games and no dating topics....

You play Divinity: Original Sin II on PS4? Never played it, what's the objective of the game? Missions?

TOO LONG, DIDN'T READ: you're supposed to master supernatural divine "source" power that's stronger than magic, and as you become strong enough to fight evil alien creatures from the void, you fight your way through the "power is dangerous" establishment. Here's my review if you want it, I did not finish the game but I am halfway through it. POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT.

----------------------------------------

I am disappointed with the main storyline, it can't get more stereotypical. The writer is talented, but in a lot of places they are being long winded and embellishing too much. That being said, there is still some quality writing. If you are the type of person that reads up all books of the shelves in the game, you will probably like it.

Great turn based dynamic combat system. Unexpectedly exciting and cool, 10/10 in that regard.

Interesting crafting system, with some cool ideas, you collect books as you go and slowly acquire recipes and I don't think nearly all is in books, some of it you figure out yourself (no losing ingredients, you can keep trying out whatever you like), but mostly it's not intuitive. If you don't want to miss things, you are best off looking things up online. Which is spoiler-ish.

They made dialogues harder if you don't have enough Persuasion and fail once, you can't try again when you boost it, and you often can't usually exit the conversation halfway. So that was frustrating, and after a while made me not care in the area that is normally highly interesting for me.

Since we've talking gaming and violence... In some aspects the game gets inane. They tried to counter the story cliches by a lot of NPCs being smarty-pants to you in conversation. This is refreshing when dosed properly. But when it came down to just even rats or squirrels (you can talk with animals) being smug and running their mouth, I just didn't care about reading dialogues any more. Like dude, what's up with all these smarty-pants animals? From that point on, I changed policy and whomever I disliked only slightly was going down, leaving only a few innocent people alive . I've never ever plunged through an RPG with this attitude.

People talk about violence and video games, but do we talk about opportunity for self inquiry. I've always had this internal struggle between being gentle and firm, meek and assertive, and I can never find a good balance, which frustrates me, and this is twice harder being a Christian. When I deal with real people, this can be stressful for me, I always worry about my conduct. I normally choose to err on the side of kind and meek in fear of stumbling in arrogance or impulsiveness. Then I stress about probably not being truthful or assertive enough. This has actually been on my mind a lot lately. Which is why I reacted like that, and it was a bit therapeutic to express what I don't like, instead of always shutting it in. So anyway. Back to the review. :)

You can't really reinvent the wheel when it comes to fantasy fiction, and obviously some people in every fantasy realm will be pagan and differ in beliefs, but this game really went overboard with how fanatic everyone is about their "gods" or even "sacred" people they almost worship, and how it's weaved deeply into the main story, which was also a big frustrating point for me. Dialogues are always limiting to a point, but this is forcing the player into some belief box they don't want to subscribe to. In fact, this happens in a lot of games and is exactly why I am building my own RPG gameworld. So I'm pretty much playing at this point for study purposes, and to make company to husband since we're playing multi.

Yes, sounds like your ready for game night. haha

Sounds like Dungeons and Dragons sort of. Never played, but it sort of gives that vibe. You multiplayer with your husband? It's family time also.

I used to think playing videos games was nerdy, it really isn't. It's basically watching a movie, that your in control of.

What game did you two play before Divity?

Yep something like that, medieval like... Before that Ultima Online for a while :)
Exactly, you direct your own entertainment, and games are more mainstream because of mobile phone games, the market has changed... Some things like pen and paper RPG will probably remain a nerd thing though...

I went to my friend's (from work) home a while back, not kidding you, they had about 5 or 6 people playing Dungeons and Dragons of some sort. I was like, what did I walk into? Was really worried they were gonna sacrifice me to their wizard warlock of some sort. That stuff is creepy. Agree with you, it's nerdy. You won't catchy me with a 12-sided dice in hand.

Zelda is pretty popular on Nintendo, did you play that one also?

Lol and here I am, whining'n'pining for the last 10 years that I don't know any people in real life to sit down with and play DnD. XD
I am familiar with DnD through PC games based on it like Baldur's Gate. It's really like any board game just with narration and acting, you're having fun basically directing your own story...
It is nerdy and will never take off with the masses, mainly because it's so pedestrian. People don't like putting in all that work and worse, using paper. Game master especially needs to do a lot of work to host a campaign. I don't think it's creepy people are just unfamiliar, but then I am kind of a nerd, so if I say it's not creepy I guess it is proof that it is...
Didn't play Zelda :)

I'm kidding. Every one likes different things, glad you got some entertainment value in it. What console do you play Divity on? PS4?
