While the latter statement is irrefutable, the former is debatable unless we all follow, submit and then adhere to your particular line of reasoning, even if it is erroneous.I allow scripture to be honest. Joshua had God on his side.

Scripture defines itself. Sons of God are creatures of God that were sinless in their creation. The only way we can become sinless sons of God is through Jesus. There were no sons of God before the cross, only Adam because Adam was created sinless.
But none of these knew Jesus Christ. Is there another way?
Unless your claim is specifically that there were no human sons of God (other than Adam) prior to the cross, you are contradicting Scripture.Scripture defines itself. I disagree angels transgressed against God. That's why he put them in a pit, And the Spirit of Christ has always been in the Eternal Godhead. You are not staying in the context of the time the word of God is providing. Abraham was the righteousness of God because of his obedience the Bible says he was called out before he was even circumcised. Guess you think they are in hell because Noah and Abraham died before the death, burial, and Resurrection of Jesus?
no sir,

To what angel has God ever said "thou art my son, this day have I begotten thee"? they are messengers. The Holy Spirit says the "sons of Gods" of Genesis 6 are angels = the Holy Spirit always speaks Truth.

John146 said:There were no sons of God before the cross, only Adam, because Adam was created sinless.

Job 38:John146 said:A claim without scripture….
I agree, and we are saved by Grace through faith in the Lord alone, But Abraham was right with God because of Faith in God's obedience is doing what God said to do; that is faith.OT saints that died in faith were kept safe in Abraham’s bosom until they were set free by the Lord after his resurrection.

God called Abram to leave his land. God called Abraham to offer up his only son He was obedient God made a Pack with him. God fully intended to keep it, and He has.

Genesis 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
Genesis 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.
Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord.
Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
You have just contradicted yourself.Yep, these sons of God are angels, created beings. They were there at the creation singing and shouting for joy.
Yes, but at the time, Abraham was not a son of God. If he were, he would have been welcomed by the Father into heaven upon death as a son of God.
You have just contradicted yourself.
You should avoid being dogmatic. If comes back to bite you repeatedly. Here are your earlier words, from post 438:nope, your heard wrong. Read again...

The Scriptures I posted show clearly that your assertion is wrong.
Is that an admission that you were wrong? If so, you could have saved face by simply clarifying when I originally challenged you, instead of demanding scriptural support for my challenge. Your arrogance is your undoing. There were no men that were sons of God, only Adam.
