I’m a 53 year old lonely man in a bad relationship! I’d like to have a friendship with someone around my age, that would be honest and give advice!

God wanted you to be happy. hoping and praying you can restore your relationship. look back to the promises you made to each other with the Lord who keep your promises together.

This is something that will require prayer.

I was a lonely man too when I first came to this site in 2014. My late second wife had just died after years of deteriorating health. Lost everything that I owned. Car had broken down. Isolated in a state over a thousand miles away from my family. Severely depressed.

This site has been a tremendous blessing to me. I hope that the same is true for you as well.

Your profile says you are married and were saved in 1980, which was 44 years ago, meaning you were
nine when you were saved? How is your relationship with God? Is this bad relationship with your wife?

Hi Andy37, welcome to the CC Forums! Will your wife go to a counsellor with you? If she won't go, do you have a Pastor or Christian trustworthy friend to talk about it to? I pray the Holy Spirit will confirm the right steps to take re your marriage, IJNA🙏✝🔯 God bless you both🙏
