You don't need a sign. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us if we trust God and don't lean to our own understanding, but acknowledge Him, He will direct our paths. Simply trust Him. He'll do the rest.
1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast our cares upon Him because He cares for us. This doesn't merely mean He has great affection for us. It also means He provides care to us and for us.
God seems to be teaching you what it means that the just shall walk by faith...Habakkuk 2:4.
