Hola... I just joined the site and this is my first post on the forums.
There is this bible passage I read awhile ago that I cannot find again after a ton of searching. I checked my saved verses on my phone's bible app (hundreds of them) and did a bunch of internet searches, but nothing clicks. I don't know if it is a single verse or several of them, and if it is a general statement or about specific people... I don't even remember if it is in the OT or NT. I'll describe the vague recollection I have in hopes someone here can help:
The idea is that a mature person should no longer be expected to take on / solve major issues or important challenges that someone younger can handle. I took it to mean, as an example, that they did all of that when they were younger and should now relax in their advance years while the next generation steps up to resolve various problems.
Does any of that make sense to someone? Again, I did a ton of web searches on keywords like elderly, seniors, and even the youth, but nothing comes close. Thanks in advance for suggestions.
