My heart goes out to you Adstar.
Your Dad must mean a LOT to you.
I've been through that and there's nobody or any greeting card saying that can ease that burden. I'm just grateful that the Holy Spirit is there for comfort. He can do what none of us can. He showed me that even though my family and friends pulled away after the event, He never left me, nor forsook me.
I trust He will be there for you too.
Spending time with Him every morning helps the day go better and every evening brings better rest.
I'm looking forward to seeing my Dad someday as I'm sure you do too.
I just prayed for your comfort, strength , and walk with the Lord to be closer than ever before.
Brother Adstar,a Scripture that helped me brother when I lost both parents was this one. (Rev 14:13) Notice please where this says, and their deeds follow with them. How may you ask?? Through both your memory of them and the deeds he taught you to follow in! For following in what he taught you he lives always in one's mindset!! Blessing to you, my brother!! You are loved by us believers! Your never alone brother!!

Adam, my heart grieves to hear this. i have tea and tissues to share with you. ♥
i have prayed for you all. my dad died most unexpectedly in January of 2008, and what i learned from his and mom's deaths is there is no good time to lose a parent. it's hard, always.
but God is faithful, and in time all the beautiful memories begin to replace the overwhelming sadness.
you don't get over the loss, but the Lord helps you live with it, if that makes sense.
may the God of all comfort surround all who loved your dad, and especially i ask this for you.
