Happy birthday. Many of us have had our 40th birthday and lived to tell about it. Although it's a gradual process, I think 40 was about the time my mindset really shifted from the someday I'll___________ daydreams of young adulthood to the ok what do I need to do now so that someday when I'm old I can continue to have a good life as I age. But then I'm an overplanner. Hopefully that will serve future me well when I hit the, better do it now because I won't be around that much longer stage of life.

When I was 38-40 I felt great. I was hitting my best workout goals and I just really felt my best. I mean, better than my teens and 20s!
