My aunt is struggling with paranoia

My aunt is struggling with a phobia of people, she's deeply troubled to the point where she doesnt leave her car much. She hasn't been around to visit either, I think she may even be afraid of people.

Shes praying, and in deliverance ministry to some extent, and shes still seeing little result

She will not go into the hospital

She is probably still on her medication. I dont know if shes still doing counseling.

Shes a very Godly woman, but she often struggles in these ways. I ask for prayers for her mental stability, hormonal balances, and stress tolerance, that and faith to step out despite her discomfort

Im pretty sure if it was demonic, she would have rebuked it by now.

Yikes. paranoia is pretty deep. I think it could also just be anxiety. lets see... I remember feeling that sense of complete fear of what could be, the knowledge of what could be. the only reason thet i am not completely dysfunctional bc of it is simply choosing to be too apathetic to care. really bad mentality but keeps me sane.
also if anyone notices inconsistencies in my persona plz bring them to my attention, because I am really trying to keep myself from being too fragmented, as some memories are either false or else maybe twisted slightly. or they could al be true. hard to sya, when they come is little bits and fragments....

Perfectly understandable. My aunt is definitely struggling in some of the ways you do, but she also has fear about things that very likely won't happen. Like people attacking her and eating her. My guess is that shes under a lot of stress, also something always triggers her. She hasn't mentioned a trigger this time however.

Thanks for your help, honesty and transparency. I love seeing people open up about their personal struggles, as we all have some.

The only relatable thing i can say to this is the story of my mom's sister husband.
He was paranoid that people were following him but there was a cause for that. He lived during the Soviet cold war block under communism where in a group of 2 people, 3 were spies. So they did follow him because they saw him with equipment (antennas) to listen to foreign channels and they threw him in jail and beat him up.

Because of this event he became paranoid even after the cold war ended but now, through better medication (which took many trials) he is more stable.

A lot of things in life have a prior cause unless, like you said in another topic, people are born with something which makes it the primary cause.
 
Father, I pray for this person that You step in and move in her life. That You know all of her needs and the issues behind this fear. Jesus you deliver us from fear if we love You with all our heart! I pray for this one for love to come to her in full measure.
