Hindsight is always 20/20.
In their time Johnson & Nixon were thought to be heroes by many because of their stance on the Vietnam war. Then the Pentagon Papers were released and their critics who had been under attack for years were found to have been correct all along. In more recent years many on the right wing thought Bush and Blair were heroes for creating the Iraq war. Then in the UK the Downing Street Memo was released and Blair lost his job. Strangely, the American media which is thought by so many here as being "leftist" completely disregarded those revelations. Had they not done so Bush would have been impeached and removed from office.
So yes, I agree with you that the world would be better if the RIGHT ones were being APPLIED on a uniform basis. Had Johnson, Nixon, and Bush applied your idea we would have enjoyed far more peace and stability throughout the world.

^ seems more like a case of wealthy elitist affluenza rather than liberalism
oh wait - we were supposed to leave the politics out of it ...
No, that was the kid from Texas. This was partyuenza.
Apparently the Libs feel that violence is justified if they disagree with someone's exercise of free speech. That sounds a little un-American to me.
if that is so they must have taken lessons from right wingers:

remember this from the Tea Party who aimed lethal weapons at law enforcement personnel who were only doing their job:

Oh please, violence from conservative groups pales in comparison to violence from Liberal groups. How many riots at Bernie or Hillary rallies compared to Trump rallies? Trump isn't even conservative. You don't see conservatives throwing eggs at women and sucker punching liberal supporters. San Jose, Chicago?? Conservatives don't shut down highways like the Libs did in Arizona.
What about Black Lives Matter torching Ferguson and Baltimore? Burning buildings, shooting cops (not pointing guns, but actually killing) Occupy Wall Street? MoveOn.Org? George Soros? Give me a break!! Libs will not allow free speech if it disagrees with them where conservatives will defend with their lives the rights for Libs to exercise their freedom of hate speech. "Pigs in a blanket, fry them like bacon." Remember that?

Those were not necessarily Tea Party, they were Mormon ranchers led by Cliven Bundy (if I remember correctly) ...
Now, that I have mentioned this stuff, can we get back to the Muslim religion topic again? First of all, I have read the Koran so I know what it says ...
Also, read the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire by Edward Gibbon.
Are all Muslims engaging in these acts? No. Hindus, Buddhists, etc are usually not radical. Now, please stop bashing Republicans and assuming that we are either scared to criticize those who are RINOs or are not doing enough. Thanks. God bless.
sure enough, Islam is attacked on this forum yet again:

Therefore, I challenge Will to admonish that person from attacking a religion based on the evil actions of one person. This will prove to some extent that you are consistent in the application of your principles.

kaylagrl; said:Islam believes that homosexuals should be put to death. That was true of the OT but we are living in grace at this point in time so it doesn't hold true for Christians. So its stating a fact, not attacking the religion, that is what they believe.
Just because one segment of Islam holds that belief does not make it true for all since there are gay Muslims who faithfully adhere to that religion.
Does Westboro represent all of Christianity?

Salon:
Salon is a valid source. If you read the link I posted you would see that they quoted the CONSERVATIVE NY Post and Fox news. If this makes it invalid, then those two right wing sources are equally invalid.
Bundy and Tea Party:
the latter's website clearly shows there is a connection: https://www.facebook.com/TheTeaParty.net/posts/710821048973383?stream_ref=5
Koran:
I have also read the Koran (Roswell & Pickthall translations). In truth, I found it terribly boring, confusing, inconsistent in its teachings, and rather uninspiring.
Re Decline and Fall as I recall Gibbon said that what ultimately killed the Roman Empire was its adoption of Christianity. That does not say very much for the religion.
As I wrote before, I am not bashing the Republicans. Instead, I am merely writing the truth that so many of you refuse to see. You people continually attack libs/Dems/feminists with the most rapturous glee imaginable. But God help anyone who dares to return the favor by pointing the finger at the GOP and its many followers for their errors.
If you want, we can take a vote right here: from now on there is to be no criticism of libs/Dems/feminists/Republicans/conservatives.
While we're at it, no attacks on Muslims as well.
As always, please apply your standards on a uniform basis.
Uniform basis, only PLEASE.
