'Truly I say to you, whatever you shall bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you shall loose on the earth shall have been loosed in heaven'

What exactly does this mean, can you give an example and have you ever done this with success?
 
I read a bumper sticker today that said, "we have your 6," and if I recall correctly, it was on a patrol car that swooped in front of me at a stoplight because I also remember a blue lives sticker. Now I'm certain I noticed and remembered those details for the purpose of answering this question.
So yes, it means that while you are operating in the earth, you are backed by the authority of heaven. Earlier I had exercised the right of this benefit in saying to a situation, "you will not deny me!" and, even though I didn't say it out loud but only in my spirit, my demand was satisfied.

Well now I know why I waited to post this question...for you to provide me with such a great example. That really puts it in perspective so I can understand it better, thanks a bunch😊👏👍
