Back in 1995, we took my mom out to dinner for Mothers' Day at a place in my area called "Old Country Buffet". During one of my trips to the buffet, I accidentally got a whole bunch of horseradish sauce, thinking it was cottage cheese! :oops:

Driving back from a trip up north we stopped at a produce place that caters to tourists just inside the Florida state line. Bought several varieties of Moonshine Jelly, which had a slight alcohol content. Tasted horrible.

I don't think so...the peach moonshine jelly I thought was quite tasty.

I did it again :):devilish::giggle:

Should I say, "Oops!"? :unsure::LOL:

Looks like it would be really good.

The wind keeps me awake these days.

Where we moved in Tennessee is one of the most windy places I ever remember living as it can howl sometimes. Plus the wind chimes I bought are constantly moving and it's a nice sound to listen to as we sit on the porch and watch the birds eating at the feeders.

"The sound of your footsteps, telling me that you're near. Your soft, gentle motion babe, brings out a need in me that no one can hear.."

A forum for the one secret confession that you do not want revealed
but are brave enough to admit for all to see.

My name is tourist and I have a serious nicotine addiction. I once told God that I wanted quit smoking. He did not answer my prayer as He knew that I was lying to him. Perhaps when I am serious he will deliver me from this self-imposed affliction, and other things as well that do not belong in my life.
I had a friend, now passed away, who was a chain smoker. He wanted to quit and tried nicotine patches, gum and cold turkey. Nothing worked. He sought the Lord, who told him that he was bound by a nicotine spirit. He was delivered of the spirit and quit immediately, with no cravings. He was in his 60's.

Love to watch the little birdies.

Im a bit of a fashionista
The Bible says with food and clothing we are to be content

So I try to vary my diet and wear something different every day when I can afford to do so. Why not find joy in the little things?

Your counsel is sound is something I try to follow.

I just realized that I don't really like listening to music. Maybe I'm getting old...but there's nothing better than sitting outside and just hearing the birds chirp. Or being inside a silent home where I can read and hear my thoughts. :love:

Everywhere you go, it seems, there is music loudly playing and I cannot stand it. Silence is underrated.
I will say, I do enjoy music sometimes. But usually I can listen to three songs a week and I'm good.

I spend the majority of my time in silence :)

Heh, and I love hearing the birds wake up if I stay up too late :giggle:

As well as at any other time... though crows can be quite raucous :unsure:

I lost interest in music years and years ago. I agree with you in that silence in underrated. Love listening to the birds chirp.
