I had that a few years ago and was tired and drained for at least a couple of weeks. Sleep is always a good antidote for what ails you. I will pray that you recover completely over the next couple of days.Getting sick with pneumonia has shown me that I'm not good at getting older. I've been strong and healthy all my life-until now-and I've been denying it. I thought I was recovered, but today I slept for most of the day, and I'm still tired.

Awesome! Don't worry, be happy!Today is D Day. Not a tragedy at all. I don't know why anyone would say that. It is cause for celebration. I am moving forward in my life, and actually have something to look forward to, someone I love and want to share the rest of my life with, who feels the same about me. Praise the Lord, for He is good, His love endures forever!![]()
I am hap-hap-happy!Awesome! Don't worry, be happy!
Wait! I think there's some in the garage freezer!
I have been thinking about making fudge alsoI think I will make my two minute microwave peanut butter fudge.... Tourist will be happy.
My D day was July 12, 1984. Looking back, it was a happy day for me too as I was now free from that wretched woman.Today is D Day. Not a tragedy at all. I don't know why anyone would say that. I'm gonna check the fridge right now! What the ..? (just kidding, no fudge as of yet though)I think I will make my two minute microwave peanut butter fudge.... Tourist will be happy.
The pouring from the pot to the pan is the most stressful part. I used to make fudge all of the time. You are suppose to stir it when it cools until is loses its gloss but at that point you have about 10 seconds to pour it in the pan and spread it out. I usually use a candy thermometer but have tried the cold water soft ball test with good results too.I have been thinking about making fudge also
I made a lot of very good fudge as a teen
Haha, so it has been a while but the critical part of making fudge is
not to over-mix it, pouring from the pot to the pan at the right time![]()
I never used a thermometer, I just went by look and feel of viscosity as it was being mixed, and then poured at just the right moment. I think chocolate pecan may be on the agenda/menu when I next get around to making fudge. (Bob likes pistachiosThe pouring from the pot to the pan is the most stressful part. Some people in my church had a strange reaction to all this as if thirty going on thirty one years of separation meant nothing. It bordered on offensive legalism to both Bob and I, but I cut them some slack because I know my pastors care for me, and they want the best for me. They have also heard much more of my "story/history" as it relates to this issue since then, and are more understanding and accepting. They have moved to desiring to give marriage counselling nowMy D day was July 12, 1984. Looking back, it was a happy day for me too as I was now free from that wretched woman.

) I was looking up recipes the other night when Bob and I were discussing fudge… because all I remember being in it was white and brown sugar, and butter. Some recipes called for sweetened condensed milk
I think I will pass on that, though maybe a little would not be bad by adding to the overall creaminess of the texture. However, a well made fudge is already melt-in-your-mouth creamy sweet. Sweets for my sweet Bob will be a regular menu item
