My midnight confession is, I wish my cat was gone..dead and gone. I'm tired of having a sick cat, tired of cleaning up puke and poop. Tired of lugging heavy litter jugs, cleaning out potty boxes and getting woken up at 3 am every darn day.. Unfortunately I can't put her down until spring when the ground softens up. :/

CC has been around 16 or 17 years now, AlaynaJ joined in 12/99 and the site had been around a year or two at that time.

Invariably good Christian sites rely solely on donations to fund them since Google ads is going to be prone to posting ads that would be completely inappropriate for a Christian site. Most sites suffer from a lack of funding and the smaller ones quite often won't raise enough donations to just pay the server bill. Couple that with the Admin feeling like a cyber babysitter and getting attacked from all sides because no matter what decision you make you're gonna have a handful of users that aren't happy with it and with time they just shut it down rather than deal with the stress.

Interestingly we've had a couple of users over the years leave CC and start their own site because they perceived in their own mind that running a site like this was easy and that could do it better than the team here. Not at all surprising that often they realize that their perceptions were very wrong and they shut down because they get tired of the headache.

Maybe I worded my comment wrong. What I was saying is that negativity doesn't last. Eventually the constant hatred just burns the life out of itself.

What does the ground have to do with putting her down? I'm just curious and ignorant lol. Unless you mean because you're going to bury her?
How old is she? I have a 9 month old cat as seen on my avatar.
 
Not quite midnight but I'm confessing that I'm itching to run away, somewhere warm and sunny. I'm tired of this winter weather :/
 
Almost-midnight-confession: I can't eat ice cream at night because my dairy allergy. My sinuses would never let me get to sleep. I can't eat chocolate because it would also keep me awake.

What's the confession part? I eat all kinds of unhealthy stuff in the morning. :cool:

Does she need put down? You could always give her to a shelter who could take care of her.



My midnight confession is that my heart is broken. I miss my ferret something awful. :'(
 
I should be working on school work, but I'm not. I'm not going to say what I'm doing, but it certainly isn't school work. Shame on me.
 
I can't stop playing this video game. It's too much fun. Oh my goodness...I'm burning the whole night playing this silly thing. Curse you Warzone 2100!

I so wanted to ask if it was midnight yet when u posted, but then again it isnt mignight now either. I often do not wait later than 11, because then it would be too little hrs sleep..smetimes u can hear a chicken somewhere here as early as 1.

It is always hard to lose a pet that you love. It's like a death in the family.
 
Midnight confession: I'm up this late on a Friday night/Saturday morning. Doing what you might ask? LOL I wish I were cool enough to say I was at a concert or had a girls night out but no...just a ton of math homework. :rolleyes:

The ground is frozen, Molly. It IS winter here even though we have no snow. I have to dig a hole for her. Of course I'm going to bury her. Isn't that usually what you do with dead animals? :confused:

Check your local ordinances, a lot of municipalities prohibit burying domestic animals in residential yards. Getting a pet cremated doesn't cost all that much unless you want the ashes returned.
