Happy Anniversary to me, Happy Anniversary to me, Happy Anniversary JesusLives, Happy Anniversary to me....

Wow....one year ago today I joined CC and it has been an interesting year I must admit. I joined for Christian fellowship and to be able to discuss Bible with other believers and have received so much more than what my reasons for joining were.

Thanks to the owners of the site for keeping it going. Thanks to members for the good and sometimes heated chats. Thanks to the friends I have made during this year for your friendship. Thanks to people with different opinions as you guys/gals make me look and think outside the box. Thanks to the Singles forum for all the laughs, and fun threads. Thanks for the prayers that have been said when I put out a request for prayer.

We may not always agree about topics, denominations, but I believe we all have the same goal which is to be reconciled with our Father in Heaven and live there with Him someday in the earth made new. God bless all my fellow sisters and brothers on this site and I plan to be here many more years chatting, debating, and learning more about God in the process.

Oh and lest I forget..... Thank You God for bringing me a partner for life on this site....tourist I love you and can't wait until we say I Do which should be shortly.

May God continue to bless all in our walk with Jesus who is most worthy of our praise.
 
I deeply appreciate God in directing me to Christian Chat as this is the site where I met my future wife (JesusLives). She is a most spiritual woman with a deep love in her heart for the Lord that she is willing to share with others and this site in particular.

Since the day God has caused our paths to cross I have been drawn closer to God. We share the Word of God together and pray together. She has been instrumental in assisting me in reducing my reliance on nicotine and faithfully monitors my reduced intake of such poisons with the goal being the complete cessation. She has made me to realize that our bodies are a temple to the Lord. She goes to great lengths to make sure that I am eating properly. My daily diet is now expanded beyond eating Hot Pockets with cold coffee. Now I drink fresh brewed coffee and eating healthy delicious food. I drink water now also so my system can be flushed out. I don't particularly like water either but that is just too bad. We have daily devotions to the Lord and we desire to place our complete trust in the Lord and it is our intention to humbly serve Him as a husband and wife team.

We are engaged to be married and hopefully, and by the grace of God, it will be this year. The engagement and wedding rings have been ordered. We attend weekly pre-marital classes to help prepare us for what lies ahead. A tentative date has been set and arrangements are in the process for the actual date of the wedding.

We are both open in our display of emotions and we each share a playful and romantic nature and are not ashamed to show this to the world as an example and inspiration to others.

At this time I want to say I am sorry if my exuberance in my posts have offended the sensibilities of others as that was not my intention. It was my hope and prayer to inspire others to overcome their fears in seeking an enduring happy relationship for themselves.

My future wife, Darlene is a loving Christian woman with the highest moral standards set for herself. I am extremely sorry if my actions have caused her character to come into question. I will not expound into detail of our individual and collective living arrangement but will only say that we are abiding by the boundary set by our Heavenly Father. Truthfully, the intimate details of our life is not anyone's business but our own and we have not shared this information despite what might have been inferred or how it was perceived by others. People chose to believe what they want to believe. What is lawful for me due to my own personal level of spiritual maturity may not be profitable to others so I must now show restraint in how I write..

Again, if I have offended anyone on this site I am sorry. I do ask that if you have been offended or take odds with what I have written that you direct your wrath towards me and to leave my future wife out of this conversation.

Day time confession

I need to get more sleep. Retired no stress really just older lady problems and wake up wide awake wishing I weren't awake after a few hours of sleep. Won't take a sleep aid don't want to feel drugged. Just cat nap but not every day.

Will I wear out my batteries faster not sleeping right? I dunno....Thank God for Christian Chat so I have some where to go and entertain my Blond self. I am a night prowler, although right now I am a morning prowler.....
 
Awake again at 4 something A.M. or as I call it oh dark 30..... However, seems some of my best posts are written early in the AM and today have said a few prayers to include all. Will be cat napping later today and then off for another counseling session getting ready for marriage. With a wonderful young pastor who is a God centered individual... it is so sweet to see the young one directing and counseling the older ones.... it is lots of fun and work.... as our young pastor likes to give out homework.

I recommend premarital counseling for anyone considering this big life changing event as it is a learning experience even for an older one such as myself. Now if I could just learn how to sleep 8 hours in a row....... without a pill that I refuse to take.
 
Having lived with depression for years I am most grateful to the woman that I love from pulling me out of the hole that I dug myself in and for believing in me. She is the most wonderful woman that I have ever known and has a deep love in her heart for the Lord. The Lord has given to her a deep love in her heart that she has given to me and I am truly blessed for having her in my life. I will be proud to have her as my wife. She is my blond honey. She says that I am her Sunshine.
 
Oh Dark 30 again....this is nothing new.... but the good news is that the marriage counseling sessions are over we just have a little bit of homework to do and we are excitedly awaiting November 27th as the day we say our I Do's. Now to find a preacher and a place to get married, here in Florida or Las Vegas? Clock is ticking the tricky part is it is Thanksgiving Day... Anyone in Clearwater FL with a license to marry folks? Please personal message me if interested as we are looking to take 10-15 minutes of time on Thanksgiving Day to get married and are in need of a preacher/Justice of the Peace or a Notary Public all able to marry people in Florida....
 
The rings are in our possession. Our pre-marital counseling is complete. Thanksgiving Day is rapidly approaching and that is the day we plan on becoming husband and wife. We will have much to give thanks to God for on that day as we do each and everyday. Since the day that we first met our lives have not been the same. Today is the first day for the rest of our lives. JesusLives and God is good.
 
Unlike yesterday which started at 2ish AM otherwise known as Oh Dark 30....I managed to stay in bed until almost 7 AM.... Yay for sleep! Feel more rested and that could be trouble a clear mind in a Blond.....with a sharp mind who knows what I can write? Still looking for someone to marry us and I must get on that as I am a plot and planner.... Our substitute Pastor who did the marriage counseling with us will be out of town that day so the search continues....
 
I am believing on Las Vegas, Nevada for our upcoming nuptials but that may be problematic because November 27 falls on Thanksgiving Day. I am wondering how Elvis would handle this situation. I believe that we would be well received in Graceland but then that is in Memphis, Tennessee. It may turn the marriage ceremony will take place in Clearwater, Florida and not in Honolulu, Hawaii after all.

This is problematic isn't it? Where to get married?...and only a month to go....and then there is that Thanksgiving thing.....Honey Honolulu was never an option as it is a Long swim from here....Florida that is.... And then of course add to that Who is going to marry us?.......Help......No pressure here....
 
I obviously have to cut back on my intake of fresh cut pineapple. I need to start drinking fresh-squeeze Florida orange juice.
 
We will be married in Las Vegas provided the plane stays the air. Still working on the who will marry us but everything is set for Las Vegas 25-30 of November. Must remember to pack lots of Christian lit/books to share with those we run into and it should be lots of people there to share with....My daughter yelled at me and said I stole her place to get married and I was suppose to get married on February 29, 2016....Well I would have if it weren't so far away the date that is. I used to joke for many years that would be my new get married date and watched three or four of them pass by..... November 27th is a much better date a Very Thankful One.

It occurs to me that Februrary 29th would be much better for tourist... he would only have to remember the anniversary one year out of four. :D
 
My husband is faithful :) thank you very much! He behaves, he doesn't fall for anyone else but me :)
