Factually, you wrote this little ditty but I like it 'cause it has rhymes and speaks the truth.

Actually, I am crazily in love with you. You have the right 'stuff'. Oh, next time that we vote together I want to be the one who calls the coin toss. I am going with heads. Oh, what dat? OK, we shake the dice and give them a toss. That sounds fair and square.

A little gag fest for our CC friends......lol
 
Actually that was pretty nice. Except the last line seemed a bit forced, like you were trying to twist it so the rhyming word would be at the end. Maybe change the wording so it fits the cadence.... hmm....

"And you I will ever adore" perhaps?


Sorry, I'm a music nerd. This extends to poetry as well. When I can proofread a love letter I guess that means I have hit nerd apogee. Or maybe it just means I have no heart. Or both.

O.K. I will give you that your line flows better, but I was speaking to My Love.....specifically so the line stays....lol Thanks for your compliment.....last line excluded.....I appreciate your review....

It was real and I have faith God will empower you to pass the momentary fleeting pleasure to achieve better things. Believe it and prophecy it over yourself!

I cant stand bad endings in books and movies. I mean it doesnt have to be perfect, but dude. Sometimes I want to go into the screen and handle it! Watched Snowpiercer (spoiler alert) a few months ago, I was like dude can this get worse, and it KEPT getting worse consistently and the good guys kept losing, like consistently the whole movie till the end! and finally almost everybody died...! Where is the point? Mannn... I hate when they do that... If you kill people like flies, it doesnt mean you're Shakespeare. And now wow man just watched such an epically bad ending again I think the worst Ive ever seen... thanks for allowing me to vent, it was really irritating to find out in the very last episode that the dude has no intent whatsoever to make anything worthwhile!
 
Don't ever, ever, EVER read "On the Beach" by Nevil Shute.

Basically all the superpowers of the earth have nuked each other, and the people in Australia didn't get bombed out because nobody hated them, so they're the only ones left. The whole book is about people waiting for the radiation dust to filter down to them and kill them. They all either take cyanide capsules or kill themselves some other way before they get too radiation-sick to move. And we had to read this IN SCHOOL! FOR A GRADE! And do a REPORT on it! And we wonder why kids have so much trouble with depression.
 
I was just about to lay bare the deepest, darkest secret of my soul..... but everybody was getting so lovey-dovey, I figured I'd just skip it for now.

I didnt read the book but I did watch the movie...
I dont think I'll ever forget the scene of a couple going to the beach to enjoy their last picnic and if I remember well also enjoying their last glass of wine, sprinkled with cyanide. And the scene is so strong exactly because it's so passer-by and not paid attention to.
I mean if it's so bleak just ride out, what's the picnic for.
Man the world is stupid.

That comes and goes this is the place to make those midnight confessions....Like I am up unable to sleep didn't feel the best yesterday and for Thursday I will be tired....stinks but those are part of the midnight confessions which is now a 2:39 AM confession probably been up since around midnight.....fun being an older lady with sleep issues....

So- Willie-T please do bare your soul.....we confess lots of things here....

I watched this movie years ago and thought it was exceptional. It was also a very good love story. It was not a realistic movie but there were many touching scenes. I did not read the book but if it is anything like the movie it will be a good read.

Actually, the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band thread can be very lovey-dovey at times. You don't have to bare your innermost secrets here, only a snippet about yourself, the things that excite you or scare you or the parts of who you are that you believe need changing. Looking forward to your future posts. Be brave. Very few are.

Nah.... Maybe one of these days, a year or so from now, if we all happen to be out eating a cheeseburger together........ but never on a forum.
 
So somewhere I visit a lot, there's a really weird atmosphere going around, I don't know if it's a prompting of the Holy Spirit.
I believe it very well is, because it was a very organic situation.

So, I kind of have noticed this guy somewhere and every time both of us walk past one another or have eye contact it seems like there may be a conversation that is needed to be had, or God is inviting a conversation about something?
I have three random scenarios in my head, this guy is
1. An atheist and God wants me to share the gospel with him.
2. He's a believer and God wants to have us talk or something.
3. He knows someone I know and God wants to have this as a door to talk about the gospel.
4. I am overanalyzing the situation and I should get back to work.

But I don't really think it's just me because the environment seems to change and I feel God's presence in a strong way.
His demeanor is very upright too, so he may be a Christian.

Another reason why I feel like God may be opening a door : My coworkers today were complimenting me like crazy and said that I looked like I was in love. Reason why that is weird is because I have been acting the same as I do everyday and I have never mentioned this to anyone .
