All the other women on here have the caregiver or the artist or that other really girly one.... and ive got the flippin mechanic one! Im changing mine.... whatever Kim's is thats what mine is to![]()
So wheres all my ENFP, INFP, ENFJ, INFJ's?lol
Well Holly, I'm the Tiger... (Oops, there I go, thinking of the Chinese restaurant zodiac placemat again... Or maybe I'm just hungry.)
Seriously, if you're the mechanic, that's perfect because I'm VERY good at breaking things. You can fix both me and all my unfortunate accidents!! Voila!!![]()
Holly: "Dag flippin' flappin' crickin' crackin' (drawn from another thread) nabbit, Kim!! I am so tired of fixing everything you freakin' frackin' break!"
Kim: "Oh, there, there, little woman... let me get you a nice soothing cup of chamomile tea... and some fried rice..."![]()
I think...
that the MBTI is very relevant in helping us understand each other. This is especially the case as it pertains to suspending judgement on someone for the way that they are.
I was recently in a relationship that was suggested by all of our mutual friends. People kept saying things like, "Well if you are both Christians, there is nothing more you need. You can work anything out and overcome any difference." I know that I have the capacity to love someone that I am with regardless of the circumstances involved. I'm pretty good at overcoming differences and being able to empathize with people but...
This seems to be a crucial misconception for a lot of well-meaning, and in my experience, often older, Christians. It's great if two people have Jesus, but that doesn't mean it will make a marriage!!! (I'm thinking of the teachers and pastors who got divorces while I was going through parochial school... and those couples studied, lived, and worked the Word of God 24/7.)
I broke up with her and then a week later through my Marriage and Family class, I discovered the MBTI. I figured out that she was an ISTJ and that I was an ENFP. We were about as opposite as it gets. She enjoyed fulfilling all of the duties and obligations of her job and I just wanted her to value her freedom and talk about what ''getting away'' means to her.
She is living her dream and I was trying to change everything about that because our core psychological makeup was polar opposite.
Mine says I'm BUTT, which one is that?
That is Bold Utopian Telepathic Talker.
(Totally jk! Playing with words there)
