How do ya'll try and reconcile the following passages:
Matthew 24:14 vs Colossians 1:5-6, 23 and Romans 16:25-26?
The word world in those verses are used in different ways in the Greek.
Matthew 24:14, the word world seems to be about the whole planet earth.
Colossians 1:5,6,23 is possibly about the world in a more narrow sense, such as a geographic region.
Romans 16:25,26 world seems to refer to a specific time period.
The translation to English could probably use some fine-tuning in some of those passages.
Of course, when all else fails, go the Greek. The word world is the same in all of these verses.
... or you’re a KJV-onlyist.
EdificationMatthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Colossians 1:5-6
the faith and love proceeding from the hope stored up for you in heaven, of which you have already heard in the word of truth, the gospel that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood the grace of God.
Colossians 1:23
if indeed you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope of the gospel you heard, which has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
Romans 16:25-26
Now to Him who is able to strengthen you by my gospel and by the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery concealed for ages past but now revealed and made known through the writings of the prophets by the command of the eternal God, in order to lead all nations to the obedience that comes from faith—

How do ya'll try and reconcile the following passages:
Matthew 24:14 vs Colossians 1:5-6, 23 and Romans 16:25-26?
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
Matthew 24:14
you have to stop erasing the lords gospel in order for it to reconcile. And you have to put Paul where he belongs for it to reconcile
“Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; and declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: by whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:”
Romans 1:1, 3-5
see Paul was called to be a witness and was separated unto this
“The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;”
Mark 1:1 KJV
you just have to acknolwedge the gospel and then the res nothing to reconcile at that point you just start hearing the gospel and believing and learning from the epistles how to understand and apply the gospel to your life
as you do that part God goes to work in you to both Will and to act in his good will
“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”
Philippians 2:13 KJV
the gospel is the power of God to do that to change our corrupt Will to serve sin , and make it a reflection of Christs Will to walk upright before the lord thisnonly happens when we acknowledge the truth the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his eternal
Kingdom
if you can place Christ as the head of the church and Paul as one of his chosen witnesses the reconciliation is moot because you will understand the proper order of authority and realize Paul is teaching directly from Christs teachkngs he is just expounding and revealing deep meaning and application of what Christ taught
Paul isn’t independent of Christ l the apostles are standing firmly upon the gospel and they are expounding it’s truths to the church
I timately you have to let go of the hypergrace docrrines that make Paul onto something he isn’t and also the dispensationalism and realize the gospel is forever the gospel tha the recorded in the Bible four times is eternally true and applicable then Paul’s true value is known and he finds his proper place as a great example of a disciple of Jesus Christ and an annointed apostle and servant of Jesus his lord and savior his and also yours
According to you, the end came some 2,000 years ago.
I’ve never said anything like that …..but in all my conversations with you here I’ve never known you to actually lie so I’ll assume it’s a misunderstanding
if you go back to that post and consider the scriptures it will reconcile for you
How do ya'll try and reconcile the following passages:
Matthew 24:14 vs Colossians 1:5-6, 23 and Romans 16:25-26?
Those are all simply different aspects and different designations for the same Gospel. It is through the preaching of the Gospel of Grace that sinners enter into the Kingdom of God (through the New Birth). When Paul says "my Gospel" he is declaring that God has given him a deeper understanding of the Gospel (which included the mystery of the Church). But it is no different than the Gospel preached by Peter and the other apostles. How do ya'll try and reconcile the following passages: Matthew 24:14 vs Colossians 1:5-6, 23 and Romans 16:25-26?
Has the gospel of the grace of God gone out into all the world (Colossians 1:5-6), been preached to every creature under heaven (verse 23), and gone out to all nations (Romans 16:25-26)? If so, then why hasn’t the end come as Jesus said it would in Matthew 24:14?
(Matthew 24:14) "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."
(Colossians 1:5-6) "For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel; {6} Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:"
(Romans 16:26) "But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:"
Well it was in the process of being made to all the world.. All nations.. And to the people who the letters where addressed to Colossians / Romans they had already had the message preached to them. Both letters where addressed to Saints who had already come to belief..
The last two verses must be interpreted with the Matthew verse as the leading verse because it is direct from Jesus himself..
“Has the gospel of the grace of God gone out into all the world”
not yet no your looking at it as of that was the end of the world all nations need to hear it America wasn’t even a nation until 1776
your misunderstanding it and no I’ve never ever claimed the end has already come lol it sounds like your claiming that though
there are many nations which didn’t even yet exist when Paul wrote his epistles…..
it is Until the end of the World the exact same things Jesus taught again here you go
“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
Matthew 28:18-20 KJV
So are you claiming the world has ended ? And so Christs words have ceased ?
brother honestly if you won’t acknolwedge what’s rig he in front of you but instead are looking for obscure verses to try to avoid the gospel you and I are never going to find common ground
the “ gospel of grace “ is here
“The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;”
Mark 1:1
“For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.”
John 1:17 KJV
Paul eas a witness of the gospel that’s so full of gods grace there is no other gospel ot doesn’t matter what you call it
“and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;”
Ephesians 6:15
“Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,”
Romans 1:1 KJV
“which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.”
Galatians 1:7 KJV
“What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.”
1 Corinthians 9:18
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
Matthew 24:14
“in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:”
2 Thessalonians 1:8 KJV
“in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”
2 Corinthians 4:4 KJV
“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,”
Ephesians 1:13 KJV
I assure you oaul isn’t preaching ten different gospels and the gospel of grace is just one more way to talk about what’s offered in the gospel of peace , of hope , life , of truth , the gospel of salvation , the gospel of grace , the gospel of God , gospel of Christ , gospel of Jesus Christ
the gospel has all Of those things in it
there is no seperate gospel there’s one gospel Jesus Christ was sent into the world to preach
after Jesus was baptized and received the spirit he says this
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.”
Luke 4:18-19, 21 KJV
Paul refers to the gospel in many ways as I have shown you just a few examples the gospe of salvstion gospel of peace gospe of grace gospel of Christ
those are all descriptors of the only gospel first preached to Israel and then Israel preached it to gentiles the Bible is a record of that
there’s no way to be saved if we reject the gospel And try to invent another based on a catch phrase saying “ grace erases everything now “
anyone who believes the gospel will be saved but if we don’t accept the word of God we’re only filling our own selves and why ? Is it because we just don’t want to have word to believe and walk in ? Will Jesus lead us astray if we hear and believe his words promising everlasting life and no condemnation ever ? Who would reject Gods promise to save and redeem
Us ?
the gospel is going to be preached in all the world that includes nations born recently all nations , until the end of the world
when It does end brother you will know as well as myself if we are yet here that is
“But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.”
Mark 13:24-27 KJV
Everyone will know when the end has come, and those who desperately avoid the words of Christ offering salvation aren’t going to like the ending
It had gone out to all the world, been preached to every creature under heaven, gone out to all nations. It doesn't matter if future nations didn't exist yet. The future nations came from people groups who existed at the time the gospel went out into all the world. I know you're trying to reconcile things, but it doesn't fit. Paul's gospel has gone out to all the world. People either rejected it, or did a poor job passing it on to future generations.
