First one was a 7.1 or 7.2 magnitude, woke me in the morning, shaking the house. The epicenter was in the neighboring province of Bohol, but most of the deaths and damage is here in Cebu. Death toll is nearing 100 now and injuries nearing 200 as of now.
Many more quakes and aftershocks (around 20), and still happening now more than 12 hours later.
Our house was pretty shaken several times today (and the concrete in the front is now cracked) but thank God we're okay.
Malls are closed. In face a couple of the malls we go to were damaged.
We sent our son to the mall supermarket for groceries but it was closed. So he went further down the highway to a supermarket, but as he entered there was another quake and the doors came loose, so we kinda gave up on buying groceries today. Street vendors (for fruits and whatever also closed).
