Waxahachie, Tx
Hello all. Going through some major tribulations in life and have decided to seek a new Church home. Was attending and baptized at a Mega church, but looking for something a bit smaller that does a better job of serving its congregation.

So does anyone have any recommendations around the Waxahachie, Tx area?

Looking for:
*A small to midsize congregation
*Does community service with food pantry, toys for tots etc.
*Friendly
*Non-judgmental
*Has a Christmas midnight service
*Acts like a hospital and is constantly open to help with faith and counseling.

I'm not stuck on any denomination.

I don't live near Texas, but I am praying that God leads you to the place which is best for you.

Is a start if you believe in evangelical churches that are Bible based and believe in OSAS. I can't endorse any because I have no idea if any particular church even has the gospel clear. However, if you aren't opposed to traditional Baptist doctrine, I'd check web sites of the churches in your area and then call the pastor with a short list of questions. Pray and visit them asking for God's direction.

I've never been there, so I'd be scared to recommend a church just by looking it up online. I'd hate to direct you to a bad one.

But I did hear that town mentioned one time.

Once there was a Texan at Niagara Falls. He was just standing there staring at it. Someone approached him and said "You're a Texan, aren't you?"

"Yup."

"They got just about everything in Texas, don't they?"

"Yup."

"See all that water spilling over the falls?"

"Yup."

"Bet they don't have anything like that in Texas."

"Nope. But down in Waxahachie we got a plumber that could fix it."
 
Shepherds chapel isn't too far drive. They are on you tube. It's your decision. Peace.

Sounds like you might like volunteering at a local Job and Family Service Center.
