I used to go to a non-denominational Christian Church for Bible study, worship, and the Lord's Supper. They had the men's breakfast and Bible study on Saturday where different scriptures and topics were discussed after eating a breakfast prepared by some of the brothers. When I asked to discuss a certain topic which was on my mind, they said that it was too controversial and opposing parties get too heated up. They refused to discuss it, so I decided to really get down and do my own research. What I found out in my research is astounding. I thank God for opening my eyes and understanding. I am presently gathering scripture and writing them down organizing them according to the different messages that God wants to relay but people are not getting or understanding the picture.
I golf twice a week. I used to play racketball for years and was quite good at it. My claim to fame is the time that I played the number 1 seeded female player in my state and beat her. Eventually, I gave up racketball because with age, my stamina and fire for the game decreased considerably. I have a piano and am learning to play it on my own. I am at the point where I can play most simple songs but not smoothly or fast. The joy for me is deciphering the chords and notes and the fingering. I don't play for people but for myself. About 10 years ago I was taking classical guitar lessons. I took them for 3 years , loved practicing, but had to give it up because my left pinky got swollen because of missing cartilage and I was not able to bend it and press the strings. That is why I switched to piano. I tutor occasionally, for free. This year I tutored my granddaughter's friend who was taking AP Calculus in high school , one of my son's friend's daughter who was struggling with math ( 6th grade), and a 2nd grade teacher weak in math who had to take a math test to get recertified. I love people and enjoy helping when I can.
I am divorced, have two children ( a 37 year old son and a 40 year old daughter) and a granddaughter who will be 19 years old on August 19. I mommysit 3 times a week from 10 AM to 7 PM. My mother is 91 years old and can not take care of herself, so my 4 sisters and I take turns taking care of her.
I am going to take a breather and let you open up. Remember that no one knows who you are and it's OK to be open. Just be yourself.
