I am searching for fellow christians who feel disenchanted with the church and desire to access the fullness of God made available through the finished work of Christ. As time progresses, I find myself questioning our role within the world. There is something definitely missing within my life and I hunger for more. I want to be the Divine Partaker the Bible declares us to be! I want to “do greater things than these” ,as Jesus said, in order to put sin and its penalty in its place. I am grieved when I see these Saint Jude commercials and wonder why we cannot walk in there and come out being followed by kids rejoicing in their healing. God is the same today as yesterday and the past revivals which were accompanied with signs and wonders are not solely delegated to history. I want more. Are there others who feel this way? Are there others who want to embrace the fullness of God accessible through the completed work of Christ? Are there others who want to delve into the secret places to discover why many of us live a neutered life? I long for spiritual meat. I long to not only live in the resurrection power of Christ but also the ascension. Seated with Christ.

-The quest for the "fullness of God" and "spiritual meat" is acquired through a lifelong process
of spiritual maturity, growth, and experience, rather than being instantly received. This involves
developing a deeper understanding of scripture and God's will through consistent study and application,
which moves believers from basic principles to mature understanding and allows them to
"become what God desires them to become".

-My spiritual journey began over two decades ago, and I firmly believe "fruits of
the Holy Spirit" are surely the principles to build, daily with perseverance. And love is one's greatest asset
when acted upon and applied accordingly, has a way of changing life in general.

-I have shared many things on threads within. I hope you come to learn spiritual truth and
reality, here in the now.

Precious friend, yes, many are discouraged, dismayed, and devastated because of
unanswered prayer about "resurrection power and bringing glory to God by
miraculous healings" to "show a sign" to unbelievers about God's Power.

imho, I believe what is missing is how to Handle God's Word Of Life! Which should Be:

Rightly Divided! = "...we walk by faith, not by sight ( signs and wonders )..." in this
"present evil age" (2 Corinthians 5:7 cp Galatians 1:4 AV)

Precious @Unsatisfied, I will pray for you on your own Grace journey - and, please Be
Very Richly Encouraged And Edified In Christ, and In His Precious Word Of Truth!:

Hope these will be helpful and 'satisfying' for you in His Wonderful:

Amen.

How is this accomplished in a practicable sense that one can apply in their everyday life? Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.

I wonder if much of the impotence within the church has to do with our inability to grasp our true identities in Christ. In prayer today, the Lord told me that “revival should not be admired by the church but expected.” It seems like our admiration and surprise of miracles attests to the fact that they are something we do not expect as an everyday occurrence. The miraculous should be synonymous with breathing to the Christian but we stand amazed when they occur. If we truly believed ourselves to be “Partakers of the Divine nature” as described in the Bible then would we, truly, be astounded from the miraculous regularly flowing from our lives?

As well, when we accept Christ as our Lord and Saviour we are engrafted into the family of God. In an instant, we are transformed into a new creation which is no longer bound by the principles of the natural realms. Through Christ, we are translated into a supernatural existence. No amount of time or maturity adds to our inheritance as Christ fulfilled all the requirements to free us from the penalties of sin and death. I do believe that through maturity, we become more receptive to access the fullness of our inheritance in Christ but once again that depends on our perceived identity. If we continue to see ourselves as a sinner saved by grace are we still not associating our identities with the old nature? In doing so, are we not casting aside the yearning desire of our Lord and Saviour to make us righteous? He said “It is finished” and, more and more, I feel that I am spitting in His face by refusing to partake in the fullness of my inheritance which he suffered to make available. I do not do so on purpose(so to speak) but through ignorance. Something is missing. There is so much more available to us and that is why I remain unsatisfied. Is it our perceived identity that limits and hinders our ability to consistently live in the realm of the miraculous(which should be our natural habitat now)…if not…any ideas.

Hi unsatisfied and your preaching to the choir here, lol, welcome to CC! I have a calling to serve the homeless and lately I've had the urge to walk up to someone bent over with scoliosis or in a wheelchair, lay hands on them pray and they receive healing. I think the church is ready for the next step and needs to look up healing believers like Charles and Frances Hunter's ministry. They were amazing, laying hands on people on the verge of death, and they recovered. Good Intro, God bless your family and your endeavors🙏🙌

Don't worry about others, just seek the Lord and his will for you. People entrenched in playing church will never change. Some people, such as yourself, might wake up and move on, but institutional religion will never change.

Thanks. I will have to look into Charles and Frances Hunter as I have never heard of them. I have read about John G Lake and his relationship with God was impressive(in the sense of the manifestations which accompanied his faith and relationship with God). “You shall know them by…”

Are there any groups here focused on this endeavour? I really want to press in on this desire(that God has placed on our hearts) with like minded brethren. If we pursue it together then maybe we may see through this dim mirror more clearly. I am intent(sounds like you are too) on pursuing this godly desire that has been placed on our hearts. Knowing that this desire comes from Him gives me more faith and “gumption” to press on. Maybe, as you have eluded to, there are millions of us being prompted into this lifestyle and we are being gathered and brought together in order to get break through? The bible clearly states that this will happen in the latter days.
