Welcome Trezy! I feel the same way too, I have some Christian friends but they all are married and are too busy nowadays. That's one of the reasons why I joined this site, most of the peeps here seem very nice but I haven't really talked with anyone yet .

This thread is 3 years old people. It's in the New Users section. If people keep old threads up here, then new users threads get pushed down and missed. If something in here sounds like an interesting topic then create a new thread in the appropriate area. Let old New User threads stay dead.

The only one I have is God. That should be enough, right?
Hi, yes but we still need others too to talk to. I can be your friend if you want?

Welcome to CC. Loneliness can be horrible. This forum is only for introducing yourself, and the subject of your OP is better suited for the Family forum, where the rest of these sorts of stories are. I can ask a mod to move it there for you. :)

That's terrible that he is unfaithful to you. Perhaps you should give some thought about putting a long distance between you and him. Perhaps moving forward in you life will alleviate your loneliness. Your post is very sad. Hopefully, this site will become a source of comfort and understanding for you. Glad to have you as a member of our family. Welcome to CC.

 I chose Green for this reply because, Green is the Color of LIFE!! We sometimes cannot see the things that are straight out in front of us. This is why rely on our Faith to allow us to See those things that are not "Plain to see" When we look on them from HUMAN eyes! While HIS Life is flowing through each of us, This is something that MANY people may not be "OPEN"
to. To these folks, I would simply ask them to cast a look in their own direction, for: Christ HIMSELF said: Remove the Beam from thine own eye, and then you will be more able to remove the Speck from thy Brother's eye.
I can see where this makes it plain that we need to start with Ourselves as the focal point for how to utilize our Faith to help ourselves, before we can ever be able to help One-Another.

As to those of whom I read were advising you that you would not need Anyone but God to help you. I cannot and Must not agree with this position. Jesus's words on this were clear: He said: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Does this not mean: Share your Love and Blessings with others of a like mind? Does this not mean: Share Love with the Unlovable? Surely, if we wish to be Loved, then We must find our Endless Supply of Love, this is this Inexaustable
Place that is: That STILL SMALL voice that is deep within, Under all the Clamor. Under the noise, A place of peace and
Utmost Tranquility which if you look enough with a good, hard, long look, you will not make a mistake, Just trust your Conscience and Allow that STILL SMALL voice to enter that place of Solitude, then, Provided you gave it the
old "College" try, you should be able to Discern a difference in your focus, which could then have shifted from a place
of Noise, and Chatter, to that of Inexaustable stillness and peace, which is the Intrument of Peace you may have heard tell about. I leave you to yourself now, and Thank you for inviting me to share!! In His Fervent Love,
Edward Horsman

Hi, sorry for the "drama title". I am a 32 year old single lady. I don't have friends. I will love to meet good christian friends. I have tried to make friends in church and other christian gatherings, but each time it seems they already have their own little group of friends. I just can't seem to break in. There's no really one on one meetings, always group meetings and at the end of the meetings everyone goes about their personal group of friends etc. I get left all alone again. It is a big church and it's hard for me to get connected. All communication is mostly through e-mail, it is so unpersonal. I am very lonely, no friends, nobody to talk to and it leaves me very very depressed all the time. Please I need friends, good christian friends. If possible I can meet one on one. I am always sad and unhappy. I always feel weird and odd because I don't have any friend at all. I need to talk to people, I feel that If I remain like this I'm gonna get more deppressed and sometimes I start having feelings of self-destruction. I'm a committed Christian.

God bless you
Hello Trezhy, I know how you feel. I often feel lonely too. What you are experiencing is very real as I am going through a similar experience.
I have learned to cry out to the Lord when the feelings of depression try to overtake me.
Remember, we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the powers and principalities of this dark age.Put on the whole armor of God. Satan wants you to be defeated. He would win and you would lose.
Don't give him the victory.
God has already given you the victory when Jesus hung on the cross over 2000 years ago.

In His Grace,

Faithful!

We all have similar situations with loneliness, etc. etc. Without going into my long story, I want to assure you God is with you and He is for you. God does give hugs, and some of us have heard his voice. It took 30 years of praying to God by beginning with the Lord's prayer most of the time, but I am now so blessed, which I can say surpasses all my understanding.

I had always felt it hard to make friends, or fit in for one reason or another. But God's Word is true, just as it says. I found out everything backyards. I know God and have had a intimate relationship with Him. He was the one who told me to go to church and I did. HE is my strength and He is my food, my water and the air I breathe. Don't worry right now about how many friends you have or have not. Think about God all the time, He is your counselor. Think about going to your church and hold you head up high. You are one of God's children and you belong in any group in that church and anywhere else.

Step forward and Serve, make a difference in someone else's life. Pray to God to make you a better person, so you can be a blessings to others, always. God loves you.[/QUOT

I will pray for you sister, Run to Jesus and tell Him what your telling us on this site. I Never feel alone my sister, I really don't aye. I love spending time Alone with my Lord, and I'm alone a lot, I actually guard it too. No person can help you like my Jesus can sister, And I'm not being Mr superspiritual, I mean it. Learn to love the time your alone with Jesus, Go into His Word and ask The Holy Spirit to Comfort you, its Who He is and its also what He Loves to do, Comfort His children. Talk to your Heavenly Father , ask Him for a Fresh Love for His Word, a Hunger to Really Really know Him, to know what it is to have that "Matchless Unbroken Companionship with Him" because I'll tell you Something that's Absolute Gospel Truth....... He wants you to have that, and He wants you to know...... you Can.... have it.
In Jesus Name I Pray your heart be encouraged.
Amen
