Hi just need a friend. I am depressed over many things
I am lonely and still dont have a BFF at my old age
I try to be nice but there are no women that want to connect with me...I have tried
 
Hello Kim, i'm sorry to hear you are going through those emotions as of late. Though I'm not around your age If you need someone to talk to i'm here as a friend

i had to chuckle a little about this because if you're anything like my 28 yo son, some of those words don't mean the same thing to the elderly as they do to you. ;) :p

but like my son, you're a kind young man. :)

Same here, so I made my own. We just had a meeting earlier today actually. There are five people (including me), none of whom I would consider my bestest friends (yes, I just said "bestest"), and two I didn't even know before today. Other than that, I study the Bible weekly with another friend one-on-one. I set that up too. Take initiative and start a Bible group, or just start by studying one-on-one with someone who's willing. Maybe you'll make a friend in the process :)

P.S. I'll just add that I'm not the most outgoing person in the world and I could do this, so maybe knowing that gives you some hope :o

I don't know that a BFF is necessary. The Lord is always our best friend. He's fun to talk to.

I'm very sorry to hear that Kim. I suffer from depression too at times. Loneliness is a hard thing to deal with. I have said a prayer for God to alleviate your loneliness.

Honey , I was going through this a few years back, it is the trick of the enemy , find something to do to contriibute to someone else life encourage them, I pray for this spirit of loniliess to be broken off you and a peace wash over you in the name of Jesus.
 
I pray depression and oppresion to be broken off her life in the name of Jesus
 
how old are u we can be friends just as long as we keep it real and no backstabbing

I was thinking of starting a camping group but Im afraid weird people will come and plus my husband says he is too busy to organize it.
