Nice area I liked it. Was stationed at CINCLANTFLT there and two of my children born while I was there, so fond memories and a nice area.
It was bad when I was there and that was from the late 80's to early 90's. We would have to oft drive up in the government vehicle or a rental to DC to get a mission brief or do a mission debrief and oh that traffic was always bad from Norfolk to DC. So only can imagine how much worse it is now.
