If you had read Ezekiel, those ideas would expand and, to my amazement, few years back I saw two UFO while I was walking with Mónica, one starry night we were praying asking a "sign" from God...
When one of my friends visited my hometown, I refered that thing to him and he, who is a pilot, also confirmed me that he saw one UFO while he was on a flight... If the world disbellive that, I have interviewed several other ppl so, I wish my dad were alive to chat about the things I have learned this time.

What I meant to say is, there's a saying that goes like this...."Just enough knowledge to be dangerous" or something in those lines. Does anyone know how the saying goes?......Kinda, lost in translation here..

i wasn't trying to fuss at you, just the way the news and everything talks about the idea.
i'm a mathematician, and have always loved space science. i guess i get frustrated by popular ideas about space that are doing the math wrong
or whatever gets the math wrong, haha
i think life is a very very unlikely thing. that God made the earth very very special.
i think the search for life is a sort of manufactured idea to get people interested in space exploration and space programs. when the US went to the moon back in the 60's it was geologists and scientists that wanted to do it - but no one would have given NASA the money and resources unless Russia was also trying to do it. in most people's minds, it was a race to get there first, to show everyone they were better than the communists. all politics. the scientists and astronauts i don't think actually cared about that at all - they only cared about the science. a lot of them were socialists or communists from germany or eastern european countries controlled then by the USSR. who cares about communism vs. democracy? we want to go to the moon. whatever will convince you to give us enough money and stuff to build rockets, thanks so much!
it's the same today i think. the people who want to go to mars and to build telescopes to study planets really just want to study the universe. but without $$ they can't, and without people interested, they can't get $$. aliens make more people interested than questions about how stars and planets accrete out of clouds of dust, or the history of mars' geology.
i can't say 100% there is no life on other planets. i doubt it, but how could i say for sure?
think about this though, how all the talk about life existing all over the universe makes our creation seem like nothing. just one out of a billion other random species that had to exist because the dice got rolled enough times. and then you have the nutcases who say all intelligent and wonderful things that mankind came up with are because aliens gave it to us. everything they can't explain, they say "aliens."
so aliens turn into an argument for us being accidents, and aliens get turned into a replacement for knowledge from God, or knowledge taught by demons. neither one of those things go along with what how the Bible talks about us.
maybe i'm too old to be posting in here, hee hee. sorry. didn't mean to sound like i was angry. i just get picky about math, so i was arguing about "the argument" -- not with you

Jesus also was taken up (by angels?) into heaven after He was resurrected and, many ppl say: "I´m going to heaven". The truth is We will be taken (no wings needed)

sometimes i look back at what i've written and think "wow i sound crotchity" and wonder what business i have posting in the teen forum, that's all. was apologizing for in-case-i-was-being-old-and-sour
we have a baby turtle - born in our front yard, no less, watched the mom lay eggs, covered with cage to keep safe, watched and waited for babies to emerge after looking up how long it would take, got worried when none did, dug up the nest and found only one survived - but hooray! one!
he or she - hard for me to tell until tiny turtle is older and bigger - is about 2 now. it's a weird feeling, raising this little guy on worms, knowing that here is a pet that could possibly outlive my grandchildren, when i don't even have any grandchildren. somehow planting a tree doesn't give me the same sense.
but that's just my body -- hey, we're going to live eternally - so that makes us all little babies, relatively, for a very long time to come, and in the big picture, infinity + 25 is pretty much equal to infinity - 25, no significant difference. you're exactly right; thanks for reminding me!
My mom has one little female turtle of 20 years... I had another, older, that I left on a solitary river, to give its natural freedom, because one of my friends was tired of it and I prayed God had spare its life from human predators, because I don`t like animals in a cage or limited in their wild life (that philosophy includes me also). Ha! Ha!
yes, i can't keep this one for all of it's life, but it is still so small, and i keep it safe until it is a big turtle, that i won't worry about being preyed on. our plan was only to keep it for one year, because the first year is most dangerous for the little one, but that stretched into two now, because he is a joy
