Life on other planets

I tried to educate you people on the matter but most prefer wives tales, feelings, uneducated beliefs, etc... to real scientific inquiry conducted on the topic.

Anyone who's actually interested in the truth, read and view the resources I provided. For the rest of you star-struck fanciers, here you go. We found an alien hiding behind the television set. Bye.

I still don't understand how your comment relates to the topic and....no statistics cant be used to prove anything unless the issue is probable. So statistics reporting 100 car accidents..... u cant use that to say all cars cause death...but u can use it to say 100 people were killed last month in a car accident. I said there were billions of stars with even more planets. The law of probability says its quite possible life is on those planets too. Astronomers are searching for planets with an atmosphere and evidence of water. I hope this answer helps

She's not a sister in the Lord. Her spiritual status is listed as "unsure."

Here, I found another alien. This one was hiding in the garage. I wounded it with a .45 ACP leg shot and then tasered it for about 10 minutes until it submitted. I've got the wound dressed now and it's resting in a dog cage.

I'm selling it on Ebay because I'm definitely sure some in this thread will bid. Look for the auction that says 'wounded nasty looking alien for sale.'

That's cool. :) I'm planning to do my masters in something space related, probably researching. I like everything about the universe from a young age, need to get a telescope though. :D

Yep, you have got a point. There are just so many galaxies out there. But by far what we know, earth can't survive on it's own. Earth is at a perfect distace from the sun for life. Any closer or any further to the sun wouldn't have allowed us to inhabite the earth. And I think every other planet close to the earth played a role in shaping the earth. When scientists studied the history of all of this, they found out that several asteroids and meteors collided to shape the planet, and most of the planets around the earth are rocky, made from those meteors I guess. Even black holes have a role in the stability of the galaxies and unltimately, the universe.
Now for all of this to form, it took many years according to man's calculation. Those many years could have been the days mentioned in Genesis where God made all of that we see. Days can be years for God. So yep, other heavenly bodies in the universe do have a role in making the earth the way it is, so maybe their purpose wasn't life, but to shape the earth. I can only speak for the close by planets. :)

Certain planets similar in size to the earth have been found which have a sun similar to ours and also have a similar distance from their sun like the earth has from it's sun. So they predict that water should be present as Hydrogen and Oxygen that make up water are abundant in the universe. I think those planets are called Keplar, with some numbers added to that name.

One would think that if you were really following the Word and incorporating the motives in your mind, this would not be the case. If you honestly believe that it is wrong to even question such things, don't leave one sentence ridiculing them; explain your reasons with Christianity and the Bible in mind.

As for offering a scholarly scientific explanation, I did. Then, I did again. But only a couple people seemed interested in a scientific analysis so I just gave up and decided to have some fun with the thread. And now you're spoiling that by hypocritically engaging in all of the same behaviors you judge and condemn others of. Do I need to take your pail of rocks away from you?

Oh please everyone dont start bickering on my account. I raised this post because i just love space and the science around time-space i find mind blowing. I only wanted some christian thoughts but didnt want to start a war over it.

When the whole world is laid out in my sight. There is called,something you feel. It is called God. And God....could flip the whole universe inside out...tied up with a little bow if He chose. Follow your heart and soul....I promise the result will be truth not failure.

However I wouldn't be too surprised if there turns out there is either.
