An adequate health care system is the foundation of a well functioning society in my opinion. The health care system in the state of Alabama is not really adequate. To my best knowledge this is the case in many other states as well, in fact, it is a national problem.
Why are people against a system that might could help them whenever need be? Why do people think the insurance companies are philanthropists?
Some tasks the country should provide, some should the state provide, and some should private companies provide.
Health care should not only be left to private companies. Some sort of public health care system is needed now. There’s a whole lot of contagious diseases we won’t be able to control if we don’t include the people who don’t have health insurance today. Are we willing to take that risk just to ensure that they can cut the rich folks taxes?

We'll do anything to ensure that rich folks can get their tax cuts.
There is absolutely no reason for a country as wealthy as we are, not to ensure that every citizen has adequate healthcare.

Oh please, you really think you can persuade me using the WHO propaganda, do you know anything about statistical analysis and valid reliable research?
I know their biases, they like Canada because we provide late term abortions which every taxpayer pays for like it or not.
Do you know a person can wait 21.5 weeks here to see a specialist, a large percentage of Canadians do not even have access to family doctors and 11 weeks for an MRI.
And do not expect to spend more than a night in the hospital unless you are on deaths door, and then their will be that one doctor who will say treatment is pointless and send you home anyway, some doctors will even refuse to start an IV, the government likes it that way cause it is cheaper than paying for beds.
Please stop promoting socialism it does not work and you can go learn for yourself if you had an open mind.

So you think the whole Canadian nation drinks koolaid who like Thomas Douglas and now the WHO is spreading propaganda and is bogus? I'm not promoting Socialism and not trying to persuade you of anything. The facts speak for themselves as do your opinions.

When I think of the new conservatives the images of nuts dressed in 17th century attire waving 'A' moral texts like 'Atlas Shrugged' come to mind and I know that they are partially supported by the Koch Bros. who do not believe in social responsibility. I know their father was a founding member of the JBS and they dropped out of the JBS because they feel it is too liberal.I have to read any facts
I see that a Christians duty is to love God first. Love our family and love our neighbors as ourselves. These things are far more important than nationalism or party lines. I am a Christian first, a family man second a social worker third and an American fourth at most. I do not oppose taxation, "Give back to Caesar what is Caesars'..." But I will not bend a knee.
I do not vote along party lines and if I joined a party it would most likely align with Friends (Quakers). They however support none either. Feel free to disagree. You will not however change my stance because the love of money is the root of all evil and there no politicians who work for the love of God or others. All of them are corrupt.
