Were Joshua and Caleb from the same Israelite tribe? What Israelite tribe(s) were Joshua and Caleb from?
I think that Joshua came from the tribe of Dan; that's also where Gideon and Samuel came from. I may have the wrong tribe name, but I know that all three came from the same one. As for Caleb, I have no idea.

Nope, neither came from the tribe of Dan.

KnowMe, since no one else listed the actual names I will give you the points for knowing where to find the answer. Good Job! Your turn to ask the next question. Make it challenging please. I love it when I learn something new.

Bye the way... The next time you read Rev 5 and see that the 24 crowned elders sing the song, "you have redeemed US by your blood from every tribe tongue, people, nation and has made us kings and priests, could be a symbolic representation of all glorified saints and not 24 special people. Maybe they are shown as 24 elders to suggest that we are going to rule and reign with him as Kings and Priests". That these 24 priest elders in 1 Chron 24 7-18 is what is supposed to be represented there in Rev 5. Not the actual named men but the idea of the government of the priesthood. This is not a private interpretation. I read about it first in the writings of Joseph A Seiss, in his verse by verse commentary on Revelation.

Who was the infamous/evil grandson of the non-Jewish OT king who spoke these words about YHWH:

I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever; For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom endures from generation to generation. I ... praise, exalt and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just, and He is able to humble those who walk in pride.

I should add that this "grandson", whose name is the answer to my Bible trivia question above, was himself a king.

Great question! :)

That would be Nebuchadnezzar - Daniel chapter 4......(y)

Daniel 4:37 King James Version (KJV)
37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

Sorry Lafftur, Nebuchadnezzar is indeed the king who spoke those words, but it's the name of his evil grandson that I was looking for/that is the actual answer to my trivia question.

~Deut
p.s. - remember that like Nebuchadnezzar, his evil grandson was also a king.
