For Mel: View attachment 188278View attachment 188280View attachment 188278View attachment 188280

John the Baptist definitely knew he was a "voice crying in the wilderness - 'Get the road ready for the Lord!' And, I'm sure he knew that before the Lord comes, Elijah appears first.........hmmmmmm

Although, while John was in prison he sent messengers to ask Jesus if He was the 'One'................. hmmmm

Okay, I give up! Deade, tell us the answer to your question!!!! :)

Lafftur!!! Where have you been? Your joyful spirit has been missed.

OK. Since we're on David, Who was Bathsheba's Grandfather?

Ha! The enemy doesn't have enough darts in his quiver to penetrate your armor!

I would have answered that question if it wasn't specifically for Mel :p

No, the hearts only were for Mel.

Ok, I'm gonna guess...........(I've got a 50/50 chance, it's a yes or a no)........... YES!!! Am I right?! :D
Yes Lafftur, according to Luke 1:13-17 when Gabriel announced John to Elizabeth. So we can assume that she told her son.

Okay, related question. Did John the Baptist lie to the people when he said he was not?

John 1:21 "And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No."

Great question, Deade! I've always wondered about that! Jesus called John the Baptist the greatest prophet.......hmmmm

May explain why he betrayed King David. A kinda type of Judas. They both betrayed their King, and they both hung themselves.

I did not know Ahithophel betrayed King David. I do believe I am being 'schooled' today! LOL! :D

Sure enough! Ahithophel betrayed King David. :)

2 Samuel 15:31 New International Version (NIV)
31 Now David had been told, “Ahithophel(A) is among the conspirators with Absalom.” So David prayed, “Lord, turn Ahithophel’s counsel into foolishness.”
