Was she a believer?
I remember reading her memoir which was a very fat book about her chasing all sorts of stories. The life of a journalist is always about the next scoop.

Then she wrote about adopting a daughter, but the daughter ran away and she felt like a bad parent. Am not sure if she (Barbara) married or not. Or what happened to her daughter.
