Please pray for me to learn quickly and memorize, have low/no stress, and work for the Lord.
Sorry to hear that Matt! How you struggling? Is it a physical job? Don't forget being well-rounded helps in virtually every position. And just remember to work for the Lord and be there to serve. A great attitude is immensely beneficial to everyone.Im struggling with work.

I reply on God. Its mental work i struggle with. My mind is always tormented by sinSorry to hear that Matt! How you struggling? Is it a physical job? I see. I find it's important to take one thing at a time, stay in that moment with as much peace and joy as you can, do it well. If it's not too personal, what do you mean by your mind being tormented by sin? I certainly understand finding ones mind thinking about unbeneficial things, especially when I want to sleep. Im sure there's methods to reduce them.I reply on God. Its mental work i struggle with. My mind is always tormented by sin

This is actually a recent topic of discussion in my circles... Unbeneficial thoughts can unconsciously come into our conscious mind. Every time, the very moment you realize this has occurred you yell, "Stop! This is not allowed!" out loud (if you can) or out loud in your head. You are telling your brain it must stop this. This has been found an effective practice.Im kind of embarrassed to say in front of everyone
I've come across this technic/practice numerous times, from many sources, going back to 90s though I wouldn't doubt it goes back much further. It's currently called Response Interruption/Redirection (RIR). I remember hearing Tony Robbins explain a woman at a party came up to him (while he was holding a wine glass with water) and insisted that he demonstrate how to keep her from thinking a constant thought (or some behavior). He asked her to think about it, and then slashed his water in her face. He's physically interrupting and redirecting well traveled synaptic roads in the her brain. Sometimes immediately, more often with repetition, these physical rivers of thoughts can be channeled another direction. Yes, I've dealt with unbeneficial repetitive thoughts.I had to say stop about 4 times just while reading this post. It could be useful although consistency is always been tricky for me. How did you come across this practice? Have you also dealt with difficult behaviour?
