This is an error most commonly (but not only) pushed by the Jehova's Witness cult.
The passage in Revelation that references the 144,000 (chapter 7 verses 4-8) clearly states that the 144,000 are from the 12 tribes of Israel (12,000 from each tribe) and then verse 9 speaks of an innumerable crowd from all tribes tongues and nations.

That is all that will be saved is 144,000 of the billions of people that dwelled on earth.

The 144,000 who are saved which they are Hebrews.
Which they are the firstfruits of the redeemed so there is more that will be saved.
Like Jesus is the firstfruits and then more people at His coming and all those that have died in the Lord before that.

At least thousand thousands are saved for they minister unto Jesus.
But the ten thousand times ten thousand when the judgment is set is that the saints being judged or the world.
It is way too low a number for the judgment when the dead rise.

I tend to believe the ten thousand times ten thousand is the saints since the thousand thousands minister unto Jesus.
And after this Daniel saw the beast given to the burning flame which happens at the battle of Armageddon which the saints are resurrected and then they come back with Jesus and He fights the world and defeats them.
Then later the dead will be judged.
So it makes sense the saints are resurrected to heaven, minister unto Jesus, are judged according to their works but are saved, and come back with Jesus to the battle of Armageddon where He defeats the world and the beast is given to the burning flame.
Ten thousand times ten thousand is 100,000,000 or an estimate but a lot of people .
Which makes more sense than 144,000 out of all the billions of people that have been on earth.

The first Chosen are the Israelites
from the book of Revelation, specifically the group of 144,000 who are "sealed" and have God's name on their foreheads. This group is seen in some religious interpretations as a special, elect group, but many other verses and interpretations of Revelation depict a much larger, uncounted multitude who also come to Christ or enter heaven, such as the great multitude described in Revelation 7:9.

Thanks for the encouragement!!! I was begging God that maybe if I tried my best, I couldn't be one of the 144, 000 people if that's how many would be saved!!!! lol! I prayed if he could increase the number if I needed it. I have some more hope now that there are still a great multititude of people that you could not count who will be saved!!! Thanks so much for more info!
Well for those that believe pre-tribulation rapture- 144,000 male virgin Jews will be preachers to the Jews. Those that rejected God during this current dispensation will not be allowed in. 80% die early in the tribulation. Anyone who worships the beast is damned. It will be difficult for a non-Jew to be saved in this time, similar to how it is difficult for Jews to turn to Christ now.
That seems like a good prayer based in your earlier understanding. Good desire and initiative!
