Job 28

He talks about how man can go to any extent to find gold ,silver, precious stones, rocks for metals..so on.. but wisdom comes from God and its not earthly ,no one can buy it, only God gives it to the person and it will not be given to the wicked but to the man who fear God ( Ps 111:10 , Proverbs 1:7)

Everyone can possess knowledge , his friends spoke were mere knowledge of what they learnt and know ..not everyone can have Wisdom unless you ask for it and it will be given to you.(James 1:5) and if they would really had or asked for wisdom they would have understood Job’s condition and known he is a righteous man even with all the troubles he has weren’t actually his but the enemies.

Job talks about the importance of wisdom and understanding. Says it is 'hidden from the eyes of every living thing...' (verse 21) but then says that God said to the human race, "The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding." Reminded me of some verses in Proverbs (among many others throughout the bible), like Proverbs 9:10, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." or Proverbs 2:6, "For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding." God's word is full of wisdom, knowledge and understanding! I don't know how anyone can or would want to go through life without it!
