Is there any indication in the Bible that the Jezebel in the old testament or the Jezebel mentioned in the new testament were somehow connected to a spirit of the same name? No.

Is there any evidence of a Jezebel Spirit? None.

In terms of Jezebel Spirit, perhaps it doesn't exist, or perhaps it is more like a metaphor for people that behave like Jezebel. Perhaps it is an actual spirit, perhaps Jezebel the person was under the influence of a demon due to her pagan religion. There's a quite a few possibilities here, and I figure first I will establish all the biblical verses about Jezebel to get a good grasp of historical person Jezebel. We're about halfway through all the mentions of Jezebel so after that if you all wish to continue the topic you may post videos and teachings and sermons about the Jezebel Spirit, modern day examples of people that have traits of Jezebel, and so on.

Nothing more than being selfish to self and those one chooses to love, is the Jezebel Spirit, the wants control of whatever it deems as good fro them.

Well certainly don't let them into our land! It is perhaps another topic, but indeed, the Bible is clear that we're not really to fellowship with the pagans, there is no real friendship between God and the house of idols. We're in competing kingdoms you see, we're in two totally different armies that are against eachother. Yes, this portion of the Bible is very ancient in history, and yet even into the modern day the themes remain the same as well as of course the Book of Revelation's portion about Jezebel indicating a sort of future application and a reason to study the historical person of Jezebel in order to understand the passage better.

Those in belief to Son is risen and that crucifixion got them forgiven, begin and see as Peter began to see in those three dreams of his, hearing "Peter kill and eat" Peter refused three times, and God said to Peter do not call anything "Unclean" that God has cleaned
then Peter led to a Gentile House and went in to that house illegally according to Jewish Law, then preached, (Not him) God through him in. the Holy Spirit to the Gentile race.
Amazing grace stands to this day, we are free to do as led by God, the same as Son did for us first. We are told in religion, to not go to a bar, not to anywhere of ill repute, why? Could it be so, those there when one goes in Father and Son might not reach those there because of the sin issue placed on us by religion, that is taken away in Son for us to be new in the risen Life of Christ? Religion: using better not go or you will fall into that too, really?
Galatians 6 talks of this truth, and seriously it is between God and you, not your religion, that only wants to look good in front of others and not be judged by their fellow believers

Waiting for the next person to believe personally and then asks God in Spirit and Truth to make them new in the risen Son for them and stand in belief to see it happen(ing) to them over time and time again, not quitting, even in troubles, and sinning as all have and still continue to do, not wanting to are those that will see through it. those that do not care are in for a bad happening, as I hope too, for all to come to believe in the risen Son for them too

At least to me. "you will always have the poor among you" Does the mean arguing and fights will ensue? Ofcoarse to me at least. Are we to not believe God in risen Son for us or not? I think that the "Jezebel spirit" is in all of us, male and female, that is, the spirit of rebellion that began with Adam and Eve.

Well I can see that there is alot of interest in the Jezebel Spirit, as I thought due to the popularity in alot of mainstream Protestant groups lately. I do have my own belief, my sense is the Jezebel Spirit refers to the woman in Revelation 2, and she is the real interesting figure here in it all since of course Revelation is the ultimate prophecy and thus keeps the Bible canon technically open until the last days. There's of course many cliches about the identity of Satan or the Antichrist, or other figures from well later on in the prophecy of the Apocalypse, but Jezebel often gets overlooked and is found right at the start in the 7 Letters to the 7 Churches whicch ostensibly starts the whole prophecy with John writings these seven letters ostensibly to the churches of his day. The Jezebel here is a woman that is prophetess that teaches the Lord's servants in Thyatira to commit fornication and to eat of idols sacrifices, thus toleration and mixing with their religion. Jezebel of Revelation could be a real person from John's day or a woman in the future. The choice of her name being Jezebel is interesting too, is this her literal name? Is it she merely embodies the Spirit of Jezebel, the historical and very infamous character from the Book of Kings and literal very real very proven secular jewish history? To find out with good honesty in our Lord we must study and try to show ourselves approved. Therefore it makes most sense to examine Historical Jezebel, meaning that Jezebel which is in the Book of Kings and also known and proven secular history.

Therefore we return now to our study and examine now Jezebel in some of the most detail ever. Where we last left off was Elijah escaping Jezebel and making her swear her magical oath of vengeance for the false prophets in vain thanks to the true God saving Elijah and nourishing him to make a quick but long journey away from the evil queen's clutches. A chpater goes by where war breaks out withthe Syrians/Arameans led by Ben Hadad where God actually delivers the enemy army into Ahab's arms and he lets them go free instead of slaughtering them, ensuring there will be war between his nation and the Syria for much of the rest of the entire Kings Cycle. We come to then 1 Kings 21, the first chapter really devoted entirely to Ahab and Jezebel more centrally. Jezebel here shows off alot of her character and the darkest aspects of it as she overruns her husband, palys a fake pity game, shows her wiliness and willingness to even commit murder, and she even conspires to frame it against God as well by framing an innocent man and accusing him of blasphemy not to her fake god, but to the actual God of heaven and earth all for the reason that she wants steal his inheritance. Since Jezebel is our primary focus and since she plays central role in the plot of the whole chapter, and so because it is a whole chapter and is already a textwall, I will break it into two parts and post the first part here.

1 Kings 21:1-14

1 And it came to pass after these things, that Naboth the Jezreelite had a vineyard, which was in Jezreel, hard by the palace of Ahab king of Samaria.

2 And Ahab spake unto Naboth, saying, Give me thy vineyard, that I may have it for a garden of herbs, because it is near unto my house: and I will give thee for it a better vineyard than it; or, if it seem good to thee, I will give thee the worth of it in money.

3 And Naboth said to Ahab, The Lord forbid it me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers unto thee.

4 And Ahab came into his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him: for he had said, I will not give thee the inheritance of my fathers. And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.

5 But Jezebel his wife came to him, and said unto him, Why is thy spirit so sad, that thou eatest no bread?

6 And he said unto her, Because I spake unto Naboth the Jezreelite, and said unto him, Give me thy vineyard for money; or else, if it please thee, I will give thee another vineyard for it: and he answered, I will not give thee my vineyard.

7 And Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the kingdom of Israel? arise, and eat bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.

8 So she wrote letters in Ahab's name, and sealed them with his seal, and sent the letters unto the elders and to the nobles that were in his city, dwelling with Naboth.

9 And she wrote in the letters, saying, Proclaim a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people:

22 And will make thine house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, for the provocation wherewith thou hast provoked me to anger, and made Israel to sin.

23 And of Jezebel also spake the Lord, saying, The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.

24 Him that dieth of Ahab in the city the dogs shall eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat.

25 But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the Lord, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.

26 And he did very abominably in following idols, according to all things as did the Amorites, whom the Lord cast out before the children of Israel.

She is executing all that oppose her will.
She is cunning and a definite political adversary to everyone. She wants to be in charge in a man's world.

So....she is not so much about sex but manipulation and definitely political power. "Do it her way or die" is the way of things. However, Jezebel is not above sexual favors to gain her way if she cannot kill you. Of course she solved Ahab's problem of a vineyard owner that wouldn't sell...he was the king....she needed him and his title.

That's what her title applied to later instances is a reference to. Manipulation and power.

King Omri of the Northern kingdom was not exactly a great king as far as God was concerned....but the Israelites loved him and surrounding kings respected him because he grew the wealth of the Northern Kingdom immensely. To a similar point that Solomon had done.

So since Ahab was Omri's son....he was essentially a spoiled rich kid that never bothered to learn or understand how to rule a kingdom and was living large off his father's success. That's how he got hooked up with Jezebel.

You make some great points here. Really for direct mention of historical Jezebel we only have one chapter left, but in light of the point up here there is a more subtle and indirect reference to Jezebel or at least her influences. This would be in the intermingling of the house of Omri/Ahab with the kingdom of Judah's line which will prove to be perilous for Judah. In the chapters between where we last left off, and the final chapter directly about historical Jezebel, many years have gone by and Ahab died as prophesied by God in battle with the Syrians. Ahab's first successor and son, Ahaziah, also perishes not too long after in an accident and when he foolishly goes to inquire of Baalzebub the fake god of the Phillistines. Our heroic man of God, Elijah also gets taken from the Earth and Elisha becomes the main prophet in his place. Jehoram/Joram the son of Ahab has discontinued the worship of Baal however he has continued the worship of the idols that Jeroboam had created almost a century before him.

We also to take note of then the happenings in Judah at this time as well. Jehoshaphat the king of Judah also dies in these intervening years and his sons which interestingly have the same names as Ahab's sons succeed him. Notably in this is Jehoram of Judah being married to a daughter of Ahab and his successor Ahaziah of Judah being the son of Athaliah, a daughter of Ahab, and perhaps a daughter of Jezebel whom had married Jehoram of Judah representing something of an alliance between Judah and Israel. Athaliah herself will become a very interesting figure later on in the Bible. In a way this feeds into the topic of the Jezebel Spirit with Athaliah being the next candidate for having the Jezebel Spirit but also perhaps it could be debated perhaps this is not so much spiritual as it is behavioral if indeed she is Jezebel's daughter. We see very interestinly that when Jehoram of Judah becomes king and marries Athaliah that he encourages worship of the fake gods as well as promotes the sexual sins, both of which are key facets of the Jezebel of Revelation. Though in fairness the text is never really clear if Athaliah is Jezebel's daughter or if she is the daughter of Ahab and another woman, but either way she is certainly influenced by Ahab and Jezebel's overall court, and of course the Bible expresses that Athaliah marrying into the kingdom of Judah is not something that is looked upon in a favorable light. Perhaps if there is still interest after we conclude Jezebel's story we will investigate Athaliah then as we focus more on the Jezebel Spirit. So I shall include the brief mention then of Athaliah here as it will also set up the sort of prelude to the final chapter for the wicked queen Jezebel.

2 Kings 8:25-29

25 In the twelfth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel did Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah begin to reign.

26 Two and twenty years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign; and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Athaliah, the daughter of Omri king of Israel.

27 And he walked in the way of the house of Ahab, and did evil in the sight of the Lord, as did the house of Ahab: for he was the son in law of the house of Ahab.

28 And he went with Joram the son of Ahab to the war against Hazael king of Syria in Ramothgilead; and the Syrians wounded Joram.

29 And king Joram went back to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. And Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick.


2 Chronicles 21:1-11

1 Now Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David. And Jehoram his son reigned in his stead.

2 And he had brethren the sons of Jehoshaphat, Azariah, and Jehiel, and Zechariah, and Azariah, and Michael, and Shephatiah: all these were the sons of Jehoshaphat king of Israel.

3 And their father gave them great gifts of silver, and of gold, and of precious things, with fenced cities in Judah: but the kingdom gave he to Jehoram; because he was the firstborn.

4 Now when Jehoram was risen up to the kingdom of his father, he strengthened himself, and slew all his brethren with the sword, and divers also of the princes of Israel.

5 Jehoram was thirty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem.

6 And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, like as did the house of Ahab: for he had the daughter of Ahab to wife: and he wrought that which was evil in the eyes of the Lord.

7 Howbeit the Lord would not destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that he had made with David, and as he promised to give a light to him and to his sons for ever.

8 In his days the Edomites revolted from under the dominion of Judah, and made themselves a king.

9 Then Jehoram went forth with his princes, and all his chariots with him: and he rose up by night, and smote the Edomites which compassed him in, and the captains of the chariots.

10 So the Edomites revolted from under the hand of Judah unto this day. The same time also did Libnah revolt from under his hand; because he had forsaken the Lord God of his fathers.

11 Moreover he made high places in the mountains of Judah and caused the inhabitants of Jerusalem to commit fornication, and compelled Judah thereto.

12 And there came a writing to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, Thus saith the Lord God of David thy father, Because thou hast not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat thy father, nor in the ways of Asa king of Judah,

13 But hast walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and hast made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to go a whoring, like to the whoredoms of the house of Ahab, and also hast slain thy brethren of thy father's house, which were better than thyself:

14 Behold, with a great plague will the Lord smite thy people, and thy children, and thy wives, and all thy goods:

15 And thou shalt have great sickness by disease of thy bowels, until thy bowels fall out by reason of the sickness day by day.

3 He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab: for his mother was his counsellor to do wickedly.

4 Wherefore he did evil in the sight of the Lord like the house of Ahab: for they were his counsellors after the death of his father to his destruction.

5 He walked also after their counsel, and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab king of Israel to war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramothgilead: and the Syrians smote Joram.

6 And he returned to be healed in Jezreel because of the wounds which were given him at Ramah, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria. And Azariah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Jehoram the son of Ahab at Jezreel, because he was sick.

Inspired by a digression elsewhere in the forum as well as a recurring theme that just pops up generally in the modern day America I figured I will take another stab at making a topic here. Last time we tried to explore Mary, the greatest of all women to ever live, but this actually surprisingly proved controversial since people associate Mary with the Catholics. This time we'll try another angle. We'll examine the Bible's very most evil woman and also what is called the Jezebel Spirit. There is alot of interest in the younger generations in the Jezebel Spirit particularly among Protestants. So right off the rip this topic is not an endorsement of Protestantism, Jezebel and the Jezebel Spirit are not intellectual property of the Protestants. In the wider social discourses the Jezebel Spirit has become a popular subject lately due to the elections and the egregious person of Kamala Harris and her incredibly evil supporters whom embody the Jezebel Spirit to a tee. We have even seen that the Jezebel Spirit is one that is particularly at odds with the true Christians as it is that the Jezebel Spirit is the driving force behind the thoughts of the fake Christans and fake Christianity that is so hated by God and so prevalent in our incredibly cursed society today. So let us jump right into it by starting with the verses about the Jezebel Spirit and afterwards in the days to come we will begin to then explore the historical person that is Jezebel the Queen of False Prophets.

Revelation 2:18-23

18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;

19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.

20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

While I wouldn't rule out that the Lord might show that someone had a 'Jezebel spirit' I would also like to point out that the verse you quoted does not mention a 'Jezebel spirit.'

I avoid using terminology like 'Jezebel spirit' and 'religious spirit' if I am teaching or explaining something. What does that mean? A demon spirit named Jezebel? Jezebel's ghost? Is a religious spirit the attitude someone has, their human spirit, a principality in the spirit realm? One person says one thing and another person says another.

I looked up 'Jezebel spirit' and found Bible commentaries from the early 20th century using the term in relation to the passage. Notice the passage does not say that 'that woman Jezebel' had a demon named Jezebel. But some people think of the term 'Jezebel spirit' like that now.

Indeed Jezebel of Revelation is the basis for the Protestant belief of the Jezebel Spirit, though as it is observed technically Jezebel of Revelation is not referred to as a spirit. Nevertheless since Jezebel of Revelation bears the name Jezebel this is significant, and in order to find out and investigate whether there even is a Jezebel Spirit or whether it is more like a metaphor we will continue to study the historical Jezebel from earlier in the Bible to see if there are some connections that we might understand what the Spirit is saying to the Churches. We are actually now at the very last chapter that refers to historical Jezebel. So I will break the chapter down into three parts and afterwards we can then decide if we want to take the study in the direction of examining various Protestant teachings about the Jezebel Spirit, if we want to extend the study to Athaliah, or if we want to do something else or in between.

2 Kings 9:1-13

1 And Elisha the prophet called one of the children of the prophets, and said unto him, Gird up thy loins, and take this box of oil in thine hand, and go to Ramothgilead:

2 And when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber;

3 Then take the box of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith the Lord, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.

4 So the young man, even the young man the prophet, went to Ramothgilead.

5 And when he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, O captain. And Jehu said, Unto which of all us? And he said, To thee, O captain.

6 And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of the Lord, even over Israel.

7 And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the Lord, at the hand of Jezebel.

8 For the whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel:

9 And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah:

10 And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the portion of Jezreel, and there shall be none to bury her. And he opened the door, and fled.

11 Then Jehu came forth to the servants of his lord: and one said unto him, Is all well? wherefore came this mad fellow to thee? And he said unto them, Ye know the man, and his communication.

12 And they said, It is false; tell us now. And he said, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saith the Lord, I have anointed thee king over Israel.

13 Then they hasted, and took every man his garment, and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew with trumpets, saying, Jehu is king.

While I wouldn't rule out that the Lord might show that someone had a 'Jezebel spirit' I would also like to point out that the verse you quoted does not mention a 'Jezebel spirit.'

I avoid using terminology like 'Jezebel spirit' and 'religious spirit' if I am teaching or explaining something. What does that mean? A demon spirit named Jezebel? Jezebel's ghost? Is a religious spirit the attitude someone has, their human spirit, a principality in the spirit realm? One person says one thing and another person says another.

I looked up 'Jezebel spirit' and found Bible commentaries from the early 20th century using the term in relation to the passage. Notice the passage does not say that 'that woman Jezebel' had a demon named Jezebel. But some people think of the term 'Jezebel spirit' like that now.

it is the first born flesh left to repent in each person to not be a selfish person, and turn to God in trust to God too lead them truthfully sand not harm others at least learn to not harm others in the new life given them to be able to not harm others, thank you

Well we continue the chapter into the next part. We are reminded of the prophecy to the true prophet Elijah about Ahab and Jezebel's fates along with Ahab's entire dynasty (the Omride dynasty or house of Omri). On the order of Elisha whom took Elijah's place in the other prophecy of the successions, Jehu is anointed by one of the lesser unnamed prophets and Jehu and his soldiers believe the prophecies and the anointing and must rapidly set their plan into action to secure the throne and destiny. We remember King Joram of Israel and King Ahaziah of Judah had gone to Jezreel for Joram to be healed of his wounds which he had got in battle against the Syrians and their new King Hazael. We also should remember from much earlier in the narrative that Jezreel had been also the home of Naboth, the innocent man that Jezebel had falsely accused in a very blasphemous sort of manner and then murdered and had his inheritance, his land and field, seized. Though we will not see Jezebel herself directly here, we will see the fate of one of her sons as well as the evil and influenced King of Judah whom is the son of Athaliah. In this encounter Jehu will be asked for peace by the adversaries, and will make a great and famous response, but in this he speaks of Jezebel and interestingly this is the first time she is outright called a whore rather than just said to be promoting of sexual immorality, as well as identified as performing witchcraft, which is of course consorting with demons, to really drive home that she has committed almost every death-worthy sin listed in the Bible and therefore for them there shall be no peace.

2 Kings 9:14-29

14 So Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi conspired against Joram. (Now Joram had kept Ramothgilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael king of Syria.

15 But king Joram was returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria.) And Jehu said, If it be your minds, then let none go forth nor escape out of the city to go to tell it in Jezreel.

16 So Jehu rode in a chariot, and went to Jezreel; for Joram lay there. And Ahaziah king of Judah was come down to see Joram.

17 And there stood a watchman on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Joram said, Take an horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, Is it peace?

18 So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again.

19 Then he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu answered, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me.

20 And the watchman told, saying, He came even unto them, and cometh not again: and the driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi; for he driveth furiously.

21 And Joram said, Make ready. And his chariot was made ready. And Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went out against Jehu, and met him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite.

22 And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?

23 And Joram turned his hands, and fled, and said to Ahaziah, There is treachery, O Ahaziah.

24 And Jehu drew a bow with his full strength, and smote Jehoram between his arms, and the arrow went out at his heart, and he sunk down in his chariot.

25 Then said Jehu to Bidkar his captain, Take up, and cast him in the portion of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite: for remember how that, when I and thou rode together after Ahab his father, the Lord laid this burden upon him;

26 Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons, saith the Lord; and I will requite thee in this plat, saith the Lord. Now therefore take and cast him into the plat of ground, according to the word of the Lord.

27 But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this, he fled by the way of the garden house. And Jehu followed after him, and said, Smite him also in the chariot. And they did so at the going up to Gur, which is by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo, and died there.

28 And his servants carried him in a chariot to Jerusalem, and buried him in his sepulchre with his fathers in the city of David.

29 And in the eleventh year of Joram the son of Ahab began Ahaziah to reign over Judah.

We now conclude the passages of the Bible directly related to historical Jezebel with the climactic conclusion of her life's story and the chapter.

2 Kings 9:30-37

30 And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window.

31 And as Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, Had Zimri peace, who slew his master?

32 And he lifted up his face to the window, and said, Who is on my side? who? And there looked out to him two or three eunuchs.

33 And he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down: and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trode her under foot.

34 And when he was come in, he did eat and drink, and said, Go, see now this cursed woman, and bury her: for she is a king's daughter.

35 And they went to bury her: but they found no more of her than the skull, and the feet, and the palms of her hands.

36 Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This is the word of the Lord, which he spake by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel:

37 And the carcase of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel; so that they shall not say, This is
Jezebel.

Now since we have covered historical Jezebel and studied her with dilligence we can come back to the more popular topic of the Jezebel Spirit that is widely a Protestant topic, but has also become to a degree more widely known about and discussed even in the wider pop culture. I do like the idea of extending the Bible Study a little further to Athaliah since we have touched upon her a little bit already and what's left about her in the Bible is actually fairly short and it flows out of the OT Jezebel story giving further resolution to it and of course since Athaliah is Jezebel's daughter this could be seen to support the various points of view about the Jezebel Spirit without neccessarily discounting any of them either, whether there be no Jezebel Spirit, whether there is one, or whether it is something in between like something of a metaphor or a byword.

I think though since it seems everyone has been so kind and patient and wanting to get to the Jezebel Spirit part of the discussion that I will pause from the direct Bible study for a little while before exploring Athaliah and examine then some of the more modern claims and points of view. To start that off then gentley easing ourselves into the Protestant videos then there is a good video here that blends the secular historical view as well as the Biblical view of Jezebel very similarly to my approach in first examining historical Jezebel to get a grounding for the topic and so this sort of serves as both a handy recap as well as a pretty good transition then into the study of Jezebel the Queen of False Prophets and the Jezebel Spirit.

Again just going to state the disclaimer that this is not an endorsement of any particular denomination or sect we examine nor any of that as I delve a little deeper into the possibilities of the Jezebel Spirit. It's just merely since it is something of a very popular topic in modern times across many different denominations and points of view in Christianity as well as has some connection to the Bible we logically now look at their points of view that range from some differing points of view you all have even expressed so far. We'll wade into now a point of view that does regard there being a Jezebel Spirit but it is not the more extreme view, which we will cover, but portrays the Jezebel Spirit as a real spirit but maybe not as an outright singular entity, but rather as something of a spiritual dynamic based on sins and behaviors associated to the historical Jezebel of the Bible's story as well as Jezebel of Revelation. This video will list out several evil behavioral disorder traits and sins that we see linked and connected to Jezebel like as some have mentioned before; Jezebel manipulation, persecution of the church, association with idolatry and sexual sins, and so forth.
