Seeds are amazing. All that the plant requires to develop is locked up in a single seed. The black mustard tree can get to 10 metres tall from a seed 2mm in size. And the seed always reproduces the plant that it came from. No evolution here.

Jesus used that example of Himself and His death, John 12:24. What is the result of Jesus choosing to die and rise again? Instead of one God/Man walking the earth and preaching God's kingdom, vast numbers of believers now live on the earth to preach God's kingdom and reveal God's salvation to the world.

The plant that grows from a seed is not the original plant. But is has the same characteristics. Likewise, the believer who is "of Christ". We are not Christ, but we have His life and nature. Everything that is of Christ belongs to us now - His wisdom, power, authority and nature. God ensures that we do not get too uppity by making us a body. There are no one bands in God's kingdom.

Where do I get this from? God's word. I sure don't get it from observation or personal experience. I've failed as much as anyone and I see a a church that is little like God's intent for the church. However, if we would believe what God says about us and discover what Jesus has done for us, many of the problems we and the church face would evaporate.

For those who require biblical support, here we go:
Ephesians 1:22 & 23
…And God put everything under His feet and made Him head over everything for the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

2 Peter 1:4
"Through these He has given us His precious and magnificent promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, now that you have escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires."

1 John 4:17
"In this way, love has been perfected among us, so that we may have confidence on the day of judgment; for in this world we are just like Him.

Start confessing who you are in Christ. If you are not sure or don't know, find out.

"I ask that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints......."

Too many Christians live as spiritual paupers, not as the mighty overcomers that God intends for us to be. Let's not settle for second best. Let's press on to the goal that God sets before us. One day, this life will be over. This life is to prepare us for eternity. It's the only chance we get. Let's make the most of it. (I speak to myself as well as to anyone else who will listen).

Listening, seeing to not be of this world as had in past been caught up in trying to not do it again, under Law then.
Now seeing new, learning new in the done work of Son for me too, thanks for the post

You are welcome. Nearly 40 years of self inflicted strife went into that revelation.

Gen 3:15 . . I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between
your seed and her seed; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his
heel.

Just about everybody on both sides of the aisle concurs that passage is the
earliest of all predictions related to the Devil's ruin. Compare Heb 2:14
wherein is said:

"Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so
that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death-- that
is: the Devil."

So then we may safely conclude that Eve's seed refers to one among her
actual posterity, i.e. her offspring.

NOTE: "seed" is a mite ambiguous. It can refer to agricultural progeny, spiritual
progeny, and/or human progeny. For example:

"If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed" (Gal 3:29)

In that example "seed" is obviously spiritual.

Here's a different angle:

"Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not
say "And to seeds" as if referring to many, but rather to one, "And to your
seed" to wit: Christ." (Gal 3:16)

That seed is definitely literal because Abraham was one of Jesus' real-life
paternal grandfathers.

“that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

…Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

….Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

….For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:16, 19, 26-29‬ ‭
